Accommodation: The rooms at Burgsdorf Guest Farm are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed with a rustic elegance that fits the environment. My room featured natural wooden elements, cozy bedding, and a fantastic view of the surrounding landscape. While the accommodations are not overly luxurious, they are thoughtfully designed, providing all the comforts you need while maintaining a connection to the farm’s simple, rural atmosphere. The bathrooms were clean and well-equipped with modern amenities. There are also a few separate chalets for those seeking more privacy or a more immersive farm experience. The unique touches, like handcrafted furniture, add to the character of the place. Food: The meals at Burgsdorf Guest Farm were one of the highlights of my stay. They offer hearty, home-cooked meals made from fresh, local ingredients—many sourced directly from the farm itself. The breakfast spread was generous, with fresh bread, eggs, and fruit, while the dinner menus often included traditional Namibian dishes like game meat and vegetables grown on-site. Dining here feels like you’re part of the family, as meals are often shared communally in a warm, welcoming dining area. Service: The service was outstanding. The owners and staff at Burgsdorf make you feel like you’re part of the family from the moment you arrive. Their hospitality is genuine, and they go out of their way to ensure guests have a memorable experience. Whether it’s helping arrange tours, offering insights about local wildlife, or simply chatting with guests over dinner, the personal touch is what sets Burgsdorf apart from larger, impersonal lodges. Activities: There’s plenty to do at the guest farm, whether you're an adventurous traveler or just looking to relax. What a five star experience! Host Lien went all out! Very spacious clean rooms, with refreshments, clean bathrooms and Extra large bed with good bedding. Dinner and breakfast was delicious and service of staff exceptional. Lovely near to nature experience, with beautiful views. A must stay over (but try to stay more than one night)

Staying at Burgsdorf Guest Farm was an exceptional experience. There is a very big probability to see very rear animals (that we even could not see in Etosha). During our road trip in Namibia, we have been accomodated in 13 locations and Burgsdorf was for us absolute number 1! The rooms are absolutely amazing, great view, nice and clean. If you have the possibility, go for the deluxe room, it is worth it. The staff is so friendly and Anita is just great. She has offered to bake for us a cake when we mentioned we would like to have one. And the pool and it's area is wonderful. The food is great. We have felt welcome and so nicely treated. This location is definitely recommendable 😊 P.S. The beds are totally comfortable.

Beautiful location with exceptional wildlife and great home made food. We met a friendly Springboek and got really close to one of the cheetahs that visit the farm and then goes back to the wilderness. The new rooms are luxurious, with a river dam in front of the private porches that provides a personal view of the animals as they drink. The grounds are huge and the friendly staff offer game drives too. A true example of eco tourism, the farm is located in an old German police station from the colonial era and has been transformed into a wildlife sanctuary, with rescue animals visiting for nourishment and care, affording guests a unique experience.
