Beautiful experience Definately worth a trip! Staff ever so knowledgeable and friendly. We did 2 tours. One was around the village and learning about the history, the second one was a game drive. Both fantastic. We had lunch there too which was incredible! 5 stars to all

Khwa tuu is a Heritage Centre for the culture of the San People who are one of the original peoples of Southern Central Africa, including Namibia, Angola, Botswana and today’s South Africa Republic. The San are/were Hunter Gatherers in their Native environment but as with many cultures they were affected by the invasion/colonisation of Africa by Western Civilisations. This was inevitably to the detriment of their historic ‘way of life’. The Khwa tuu centre preserves and promotes the historic San way of life to maintain and preserve their culture so that future generations can understand how indigenous peoples lived before Western Colonisation. The Khwa tuu Centre have options for an overnight stay to experience a ‘night in the Wilderness’ with a luxurious twist, there are two types of ‘lodge’ cabins we stayed in a Flynbos Cabin which is a Log Cabin type of structure with all the modern amenities, such as Fitted Kitchen, ‘outside shower’ Super King bed, BBQ Grill and Log fired heated Hot tub and ‘Panoramic’ Floor to Ceiling windows giving a great view of the Wilderness outside from the comfort of that ‘Great Big Bed’ Breakfast back at the Centre is included to set you on your way. A thoroughly enjoyable experience and stay over.

Took the our teenaged kids and their friends with and stayed over at the Bush Camp. The tents were clean, well maintained and even though they did not have things like a fridge or plugs to charge cellphones like you will fiend in normal opulence , they were an awesome opportunity to just release the stresses of every day. The air was fresh and permeated of wild flora with a variety of different bird sounds. Furthermore, the staff were friendly and very helpful. Tucked away off the R27 isa peaceful nature reserve, educational centre and fantastic restaurant. We had spent the day in West Coast National Park (fabulous flowers) and needed a late lunch. We were rewarded with extraordinary views of Table Mountain and simply delicious meals. The food is all locally and sustainably sourced, served by attentive and delightful staff. There are bike and hiking trails for the adventurous. We'll worth a visit!
