Hotel is 2 star and very basic accommodation. Like a ski cabin. Garden and tents are beautiful against woodland backdrop Wellbeing area very nice. We paid 2.2K Euros for 3 nights during GP (5 star prices!) and were publicly reprimanded by the owners for mistakenly cooking a Belgium sausage on the BBQ! Apparently only their preordered food is allowed. The owner said I would have to pay 35 euros extra for cooking my own food (the grill was huge and already alight) but she backtracked when I mentioned what we had paid! Other families were eating their own food all weekend. We preordered their chicken wings the day before and it did not come with any salad or sides like slaw? Additionally, their restaurant was closed (informed 2 days before the GP weekend stay) and the preorder menu is very unhealthy carb-loaded and no salads or vegetables. Breakfast was average with flies all over the fruit and smoothies. The Best Western breakfast in Calais was much better! This place is like a posh 'mum at home' project. A great deal of thought has gone into the design but in our case they are not nice to guests. We would not return.

Amazing location (I was not expecting a fully operational music studio there) and a great concept. Rooms are great, staff are perfect and faultless. Small spa area which is great for kids along with the pool and chill out areas. Outdoor space is very relaxing too and can imagine this place is very alive in the sun. Will certainly be back to try the glamping in summer.

What an experience! This is hotel with the free spirit and vibe of a festival camping. With the beautiful garden, campfire kitchen you can indge yourself into full relaxation. Nice clean rooms, a small wellness and the entertainment package tops it al off. Hasta la vista baby, I’ll be back!

Super nice place, great vibe, with the musical theme ringing throughout the whole place. Nice little relaxing wellness, comfortable bedroom, stylish shared spaces and a great breakfast. Beautiful outdoor space and in very convenient proximity to lots of nature hikes in the high Fens. We also got the chance to briefly visit the recording studio. Wow. All in all, Daft is waaaaaay cool.

Excellent all round Pretty rural area and interesting modern design Comfortable room and en-suite Sitting areas well designed and relaxing the outside is wonderful- very special feel Lots of local hiking and cycle trails Breakfast very good buffet

I booked a last minute trip with my 10yr old daughter and we were not disappointed. The music themed décor was everything I like. The hotel was so friendly and the staff were great. Its a hotel with a camping vibe. The breakfast was excellent, as was the wellness. Honesty bars were great and to sit around the fire pit in the evening toasting marshmallows was a highlight. Its a unique concept offering a laidback family break.

Daft Hotel was the perfect location for our leadership training. The inspiring setting, both indoors and outdoors, with such a variety of spots to choose from for each part of our programme made it a great succes. We loved having conversations in the lounge as wells as around the fire under the stars. And we made the most of the home cinema with amazing audio to share inspirational video's. The DAFT team did their utmost to serve us. Great hospitality with a personal touch.

Ik was al eens aanwezig in Daft Hotel in het verleden in professionele context en was toen al enorm onder de indruk van het hotel, de omgeving en in het bijzonder van het concept: het thuisgevoel, het contact met andere hotelgasten in de ‘woonkamer’ met gezellige houtkachel en fantastisch kleurig interieur en niet in het minste de fantastische muziek die constant speelt. Voldoende redenen om nog eens terug te keren, ditmaal met het gezin. En opnieuw: subliem goed!
