A lovely apartment , we were lucky to have the lake view , easy walking to a few shops along the boardwalk . Boat hire , cycle hire , kayak hire it’s all there for you to explore . David was very welcoming and also sells his own honey ! Bakery was fantastic lots of cakes bread and pies etc . If you need a food shop there is a food store in the centre .

To Stay In Mallacoota Here close To Town And Beauiful Beaches This Place Is A Hidden Gem The Host David Is So Welcoming We Really Enjoyed Our Stay For Two Nights Wish We Could Of Stayed Longer Beauiful Gardens And Very Quite And Clean Would Come Back Here To Stay Nice Spa In Bathrooms

We stayed here for one night on the way home and wished we could've styaed another night. We had our dog with us and there was also an electric car charger which was the main 2 reasons we booked because we needed to charge before getting on the road again and needed dog friendly. Walking distance to the boardwalk and water. Room was bigger than my old one bedroom apartment and the bed and pillows were fantastic. You could stay here for a while as there is a full size fridge, full kitchen, spa bath, large TV. There are also chickens, bee hives and solar paower over the property too. Good to suppotr local people who are doing good things for the environment too.

At short notice and looking online last week I came across this property and saw a vacancy. I called the Waves Oasis direct and spoke with the owner Dave who was extremely polite and told me he'd had a cancellation and one of his studio rooms was available. From Check-in to check-out the process was straightforward. The studio apartment was fitted out with a small kitchenette which was so handy as I was able to cook each night. Dave had highlighted a map upon arrival which meant I could navigate around the town and all the beautiful walks on offer at Mallacoota. This property is energy efficient and has electric car charging points. I also got to experience picking fresh oranges, lemons, and mandarins and was told I could help myself to the freshly grown spring onion and silver beet which was a bonus. The venue is clean and quiet. We didn’t have the room with a view but didn’t need it as we were out in our boat every day with beautiful 360 vistas. The room itself is well appointed with a pod coffee machine, dishwasher, coffee and tea, oven and cooktop plus microwave if you really want to cook in your room. Netflix on tap with all usual amenities. The owner is just amazing and goes above and beyond to ensure that his guests enjoy their stay.

The Wave Oasis was stunning, in both location and accommodation. It was so comfortable and peaceful and the host David was incredibly helpful and friendly. The lakeside, bush and beach walks were all close and magnificent. Mallacoota town was a lovely walk away also. I completely enjoyed my holiday and will love to return and recommend to everyone. Thank you!

My wife and I spent 3 nice days and nights in the Mallacoota area based at this awesome apartment (Room 1 which is the King Apartment with a sea view). The apartment is immaculate, super clean and king bed very comfortable. It was a pleasure to stay there. The host David was very friendly, provided excellent service and easy to communicate with. We highly recommend this place, particularly Room 1 which has a beautiful deck looking out towards the water. It definitely felt like a home away from home unlike other places we have stayed at. I would definitely stay again in Room 1. Thankyou!
