Wow , wow and wow . Last time I came was 5 years ago and loved it then . This time it’s got 100 times better Last winter the hotel underwent a total refit and modernisation . It’s amazing , really bright and modern , amazing transformation. Everything about the place is perfect , the suites are roomy and very modern , perfect working Aircon , the outside areas are always clean and tidy , the staff are very friendly and helpful …. And the food is delicious. I’ve not had one bad meal . Don’t be afraid that it’s in Malia , although Malia is a party place the hotel is a 10 min walk away from the ***** and you don’t hear any of the noise / music .

I was very happy with my stay here. The staff and ownership are very helpful and friendly. The facilities are very nice, new and clean. The restaurant is very nice and the food is really good. The pool area is very nice as well. Nice bed and pillow selection. They are also helpful in suggesting excursions to do during the day time. The location is also good as it is just outside of the craziness of Malia to where you avoid the night time noise if you want, but can still easily walk down to access stores, clubs, restaurants and bars. The location is also good in that it allows you to access the majority of the eastern highlights of the island within an hour. I would definitely stay there again!!!

It's a nice hotel. The people are very friendly and helpful if you have questions. The hotel is cosy and not too big, which is nice. There was (almost) always room at the swimming pool. The hotel is also very clean. The food was okay, not the greatest I had, but not bad at all. There was a lot of choice; the buffet was different every evening and the breakfast was also good. The room was a little bit small, but we could manage. It's a 20 min. walk from the sea, but because of that it's also rather calm in the evening. It's close to the old town of Malia (also a 20 min. walk) and there's a bus station nearby which takes you to Heraklion.

The best place ! I went here for a girls holiday ( 10 girls ) they were so lovely , literally made us all feel so safe and the staff is like a massive family. The night reception is amazing too , always made sure we got back safe and even made fresh aloe for my friend with burns! The people there also made sure we knew what drinks to avoid whilst we was out on the *****. Everything’s about a 10/15 mins walk and only €8 for cabs to the *****. The pool is sooo modern ( it’s been redone since the pics) and has really comfy sunbeds. Rooms are really modern as well ( looks exactly like the pics) and aircon is a lifesaver Oahah. The Mountain View’s and the sea views and both incredible too ! Would love to come back , definitely 10/10

The spa at the Elysium hotel was very blissful. A special thank you to Ina who was fantastic and met all my needs. The pressure was perfect. And I felt a lot less stressed when I walked out. The general experience from booking up until finishing the massage was seem less. The staff at the spa are particularly friendly and welcoming and set a lovely ambience. Thank you to all.

lovely hotel with the best staff. I have never encountered such friendly and accommodating staff, they make you feel like family. pool area also amazing with a variety of sun loungers. food was good and cocktails even better- if that’s not enough they have the cutest dog ever.

This property is located just about 15 minutes walk from downtown. Property is surrounded by nice gardens and olive trees.
The most disappointing was stuff, specifically, front desk and owners who run this property. I been traveling frequently, but never in my life I been experiencing that level of unprofessionalism.
The front desk check in personal, was a owner too, extremely arrogant, rude, disrespectful
The service we as a family received, makes me never ever wanting to visit this country again.
We stayed for two night, but regret our decision for staying

Very nice hotel with very comfortable rooms a great view. located a bit of a walk from the main town in a secluded quiet area it is perfect for a relaxing vacation. Great pool area and restaurant. The hotel is very nicely decorated and givees a luxurious feeling. Best part is the family running the hotel which make the guests feel as part of the family. Extremely helpful and multilingual staff. Definitely ask and take their advice in terms of restaurants and beaches to visit. I have however to give one critique and that is the absolutely abysmal internet service available in the area.
