Family Hotel Vespera

This is not our first stay at this hotel. We had a perfect holiday here last year, which is why we decided to return. Unfortunately, it seems that the hotel is now facing serious management issues, particularly in the operation of its restaurants. Compared to last year, the number of guests appears to be the same, but the experience has deteriorated significantly. Finding a table for dinner was often a challenge, and there were frequent shortages of food, which led to long waits for refills. It was clear that there wasn't enough restaurant staff, and those who were working seemed poorly trained. For instance, staff would sometimes clear plates before we had finished eating. Moreover, the quality of the food has declined. On several occasions, the food was undercooked, which likely led to food poisoning in some guests (as reported in the newspapers). Overall, the hotel seems to be struggling with significant management problems, especially in restaurant operations, which is a shame because it was once a fantastic destination for families.

Salmonella and e coli appeared in the hotel!! On the second day after arrival, the child developed stomach pains, fever and diarrhea, while our symptoms were milder..we left earlier than planned..The media are now reporting that more than 70 guests are infected.. 19 hotel employees were confirmed to be germ carriers and they were removed from the workplace and kitchen. Shame for 4* hotel! Parking is very difficult to find, even payed one. We will not return ever again!

I have stayed at many 4 and 5 star and this was kind of a gem. The people here are fantastic! It’s beautiful away from the small town of Mali Losinj. Very quiet evening walks or evening swims if you prefer. They treated my mom and I very well. Thank you.

Our stay at Hotel Vespera was truly memorable, primarily due to the outstanding hospitality of the staff. They were exceptionally courteous and attentive, quickly addressing and resolving all the minor issues we encountered, which significantly enhanced our overall experience. The culinary offerings at the hotel were delightful, with a diverse menu that catered to various tastes. Every meal was a treat, and we particularly enjoyed the local specialties. However, the dining area did tend to get quite crowded at times, which slightly impacted the dining experience. The hotel's location is absolutely stunning. Nestled amidst breathtaking surroundings, it offers a picturesque view of the beach and crystal-clear waters. This idyllic setting made our stay even more enjoyable and provided a perfect backdrop for relaxation. The pool area was another highlight, with lovely pools that added to our leisure time. Unfortunately, one of the pools was not operational during our visit, which was a minor disappointment. Nonetheless, the other pools were well-maintained and provided a great place to unwind. A special highlight of our stay was the Pino song, a charming tune that we still find ourselves singing at home. It added a unique touch to our experience and left us with fond memories of our time at Hotel Vespera. Overall, our stay at Hotel Vespera was wonderful. With friendly staff, delicious food, and beautiful surroundings, it is a place we would highly recommend and definitely consider returning to in the future.

We chose Vespera for our summer vacation during the high season in Croatia. We were afraid that it would be too crowded, but the hotel is well run and although it was crowded, we did not have to wait during meals etc. The hotel restaurant is very large and food is replenished regularly. Dinner has a wide variety and was different every day. Very tasty traditional Croatian food. The cleaning of the room and the hotel was excellent and I had the impression that there is enough staff, which is not common in Croatia. Most of the staff is not Croatian. Pool area well maintained and not crowded. Beaches all arount the hotel and beautiful nature invite long walks. It is 30 minutes walk to Mali Losinj and 20-30 minutes to Uvala Čikat. We had an excellent stay and thank you Vespera.

We had great time at Vespera. Hotel is clean, service and staff are very polite. Children animation is very good, they have activities for all age groups during all day and mini disco at evenning. Food is good, they could improve offer for breakfast, but generally food was better than in some more expensive hotels. But what we liked the most is beautiful nature that is surrounding the hotel, relaxing scent of pine trees and the sound of waves and crickets that you hear all day.
