Luna Park Hotel Yoga & Spa

Great hotel and staff 10days into our 14 day stay ,relaxed and clean .Great welcome from reception team on arrival .Brilliant friendly bar team too many names to mention but outstanding are Paul ,Alex and Hamza .Real credit to room attendants who come in daily .Superb will recommend this hotel to anyone. Thank you.

I had a lovely stay at the hotel: the staff was very friendly, the rooms were clean and the pool was amazing. Besides that, the food was excellent. Only one remark: the walls are very thin, so it was very noisy in the hallways every night, and you could hear people's footsteps upstairs loudly. Lastly, the cleaning staff did a great job at cleaning. However, they made a lot of noise doing so. We woke up because they were moving things in nearby rooms but they were not paying attention to doing this in a quiet manner. It woke us up almost daily. Finally, the overall experience was amazing, the only thing less pleasant was the noise at the room. I would recommend this hotel.

The good points - nice hotel. Clean and well presented. Rooms clean beds and pillows comfy. Lovely fluffy white towels. Pool and area clean and well stocked with sun beds. Water freezing!! Short walk to cafes/restaurants and bars. Lovely beach with water sports. The bad ‘ish’ points. Restaurant clean and staff lovely. Food somewhat boring. However nicely presented. I’d sway to 3* rather than 4* not a lot of variety of fruit. Only ever saw melon, pineapple, orange, grapefruit. Desert counter disappointingly minimal. However the cooking stations were nice especially the sausages and burgers. Was difficult to work out what some of the foods were as the tickets did not have English and some foods had no tickets!!! There is NO eating alfresco. Very disappointing… It would have been nice to eat breakfast outside. The restaurant is in the lower part of the hotel so quite stuffy.. there is a bar and bar area which is nice. Also a bar outside by the pool. However no snacks are provided. Apart from crisps. Would have been nice to have been able to buy a toasted sandwich at least. Especially for b&b or half board residents. I saw entertainment one evening. 2 elderly gentlemen playing and signing 60’s songs to a handful of guests..not great!! No pool Entertainment offered! They offer yoga and meditation but nowhere is there an itinerary so had no idea when or where these are taking place so unfortunately did not get to participate. If you want quiet and boring this is your hotel. If you want more of a fun vibe go elsewhere!

We booked this as a last minute cheaper holiday just to have a break in the sun. Gorgeous hotel and our balcony overlooked the adults only pool which is smaller but we preferred it. The adult pool has lots of sunbeds and 8 free double sunbeds which were very comfy. There are also 8 adjustable double beds with canopies but these are €15 per day so we never bothered. The food was lovely and lots of choice and variety but as always with hotel food it does get a bit repetitive. There is a lovely salad bar, several prepared salads, hot selection, desserts, soup, vegetarian section and a chef cooking to order each night. Breakfast was particularly good and Chico made fried eggs, pancakes and omelettes to order which were all fab. The coffee at breakfast was really good. The hotel has a nice bar which is indoor and outdoor and they had entertainment on 3 of our night and it was good but quite low key and not in your face. Drinks weren't overly expensive. The main pool has music but the adult pool doesn't which is a shame. The yoga program is free and was amazing, Laura and Beatrize were both fab and we did yoga, meditation reiki and facial yoga. Yiu can get to Barcelona or Girona by train and tge closest station is a 10-15 minute walk away. The "*****" is only a few mins walk away as is the beach. We would definitely go back.

First of all we want to thank Saima and her restaurant team for their brilliant hosting during breakfast and dinner. We stayed for one week in the Luna Park Hotel with our little baby and they really took good care of us and the special needs travelling with a baby. Saima was a very good supervisor,she‘s really making her job excellent and she is a warm and kind person. The whole service team at the restaurant and at the pool bar were helpful,nice and diligent. Especially the barbecue guys were great- the food was delicious. Also a big thank you to the cleaning ladys,they made a great job. Nothing to complain. The receptionist was far from welcoming. Inside the door of the room was a large grill that was absolutely filthy. The sink had no plug and the toilet seat wouldn’t stay up. The restaurant was more like a school canteen - not worthy of a 4* rating. When I complained after my stay to Bondia Hotels they were so rude - I couldn’t believe it. Needless to say, I will avoid anything Bondia in the future
