Our room had a great ocean view and it was such a relief to open the balcony doors every morning. The overall facilities of the hotel really need to be updated and improved, the service staff is very friendly, and the food is basically okay. The sound of music will be around 11.30 every night, which is not very friendly for those who are used to going to bed early.
For what I paid for the room, I couldn't ask for more. Overall satisfied.

Won't allow me to give all detailed. Male receptionist threatened my 14 year old autistic son and we left and flew home within 4 hours at resort. Lost so much money and no refund. Hotel won't take responsibility for these staff being aggressive towards families and kids Stay clear we might as well have threw £1700 away

Just got home from a week at the Planamar. Yes the hotel is dated but we found it to be fine. The rooms were cleaned every day and if we wanted fresh towels we just left the dirty ones in the bath. We had a pool view and had the luxury of a sea view too. The walls are thin but they are not unlike any other hotel. We stayed all inclusive. The food was mostly the same but you have a daily change to one of the mains. We found the food perfectly edible and nice. One downside is it wasn’t as hot as we would like so 30 seconds in the microwave and it was done. The drinks were good too. Estrella on draft and local spirits. Cocktails from a machine. The drinks were made very strong at times. The location is perfect close to everything you need. There was some late night noise but this was out of the hotels grounds. All the staff were brilliant and worked really hard. Overall don’t expect the ritz it is a 3 star and a good one too.

Rude staff Food cold Bed linen not changed once during 11 day stay Same music played everyday Staff do nothing about noisy guests Feel like a criminal if you want to take some fruit from the restaurant, even though you’ve already paid for it! Thin walls , you can hear everything from the adjoining rooms Had to ask for toilet roll as they never left any Staff are rude and unhelpful Never a 3 start, should be downgraded straight away.

Stayed all inclusive for a eeek had a balcony over looking pool and beach and 2nd balcony over side street rooms basic food average didn’t like the set times for meals especially tea at 8:20 only went on once next door hotel very noises didn’t sleep sat night balcony doors are only single glazed it wasn’t as bad as reviews and what ppl say and was spotless clean.

Had an absolute brilliant time here. Hotel was lovely and clean. Food was really nice. Room had an amazing view we stayed in 309. All staff were warm friendly and welcoming. 2 staff stood out for us tho and that's the bar staff niomi and jarrard. These 2 were great. We didn't have to ask for our drinks they just knew and were sometimes pouring them before we got through the door. Both so friendly and professional and very good at making other guests laugh. They both deserve great credit. Thank you both. We have booked again in april.
