I´ve been traveling around Greece for a month and Ammoudara and Frank Hotel became my last stop before going home. And I just love it! A kind and service-minded, family run hotel with the nicest family you ever meet :) Perfect english speaking. Pool and sun chairs for free and 40 m to get to the 6 km sandy beach. Room is clean and perfectly sized. AC of course and possibility to make coffee and lunch if not going to some of the near by restaurants and tavernas. I just decided to go back in the autumn. The bus outside the hotel brings you straight to Heraklion airport. Once again: lovely place!

Lovely relaxing stay here. The team at frank apartments are so lovely and helpful, really helping you relax from the moment you arrive. Their style is chilled friendly and personal. The apartment was spotless clean and incredibly comfortable. Bathroom was clean but could do with modernising at some point. Location is perfect, right on the beach, and close to shops and some lovely restaurants , sunloungers free to guests and the team were attentive - making sure we stayed hydrated. The food served is tasty and varied - franks burgers are a must try! The Pool is spotless. Would definitely stay here again.

Stumbled upon this little place. My daughter and I, backpacking Greece. Was far more than we expected, and super friendly. Immaculate and clean. Great location.Great view. About a 6km walk from Heraklion, lots of little shops nearby, car rental places, resorts, restaurants all minutes away by foot. Oh and cute little balcony with ocean view for our morning Java

What a lovely week we had at Frank Apartment! We are so happy we chose this place among the many options in Crete. Our room had the balcony and it was quite spacious for the three of us. It even had a fridge and a small kitchenette with all the utensils, so we could cook, which we never did since we had our dinners in Amoudara or Heraklion and enjoyed a superb lunch at Frank Apartments – they make perfect hamburgers that you can have right by the pool or at the seaside. Though I planned to enjoy only the Cretan cuisine in Crete, I could not resist their hamburgers! We loved everything there: the very friendly and nice staff, the big pool, plenty of beach chairs at the pool, and even free beach couches at the beach where you can lie like at home. Our room was in the shade, so we often didn't even need an air conditioner. The bed linen and towels were impeccably clean. There was a bus stop right next to our building, and it takes half an hour to go to Heraklion. Amoudara is a very nice suburb with lots of great restaurants and tavernas. We had a perfect vacation, and I am 100% sure that when I come to Crete again, I will stay at Frank apartment without doubts.

Vero good place, clean room with a view of the sea, everything recently renewed. Everyone was kind. Amazing breakfast. Beautiful pool and the hotel Washington directory on the beach. You can have drinks and burghers while sunbathing on the sea.

Just returned from a wonderful stay at these apartments. Rooms are spotless beds are comfortable and aircon works great. The bathroom was good very modern, clean and the shower was superb although the cubicle was only small so larger people may struggle but this wasn’t an issue for us. The location is perfect, lots of lovely shops and restaurants close by and also right on the beach which was stunning, it was windy but this made the beautiful sunshine much more bearable. Loungers and parasols are free for residents and are really comfortable plus waiter/waitress service to your bed. The pool was great very clean and plenty of sunbeds and shade if needed. Pool bar served drinks and food which were all very good the burgers were amazing. The staff here work extremely hard and are really friendly and helpful. We really could not fault the place probably the most relaxed I’ve felt in years whilst here. Bus stop into Heraklion is just outside the hotel and is very cheap. I would definitely recommend and hope to return at some point in the future.

Amazing location, fantastic staff, extremely clean! We didn’t stay at the apartments as we were staying with the family. We only used pool and beach area. We go there every year and is always fantastic. Very high standards and friendly staff. Delicious food and drinks for good price. We will be looking to book a stay for next year. Kat & Steve

Thank you Sofia and team for accommodating us at short notice. We had a problem with the apartments next door which I strongly advise you to stay away from. Frank apartments have a wonderful vibe, excellent location and free sun beds for guests. The food poolside is the best. Accommodation has everything you need. When we return to Ammoudara, we would not stay anywhere else. Wish we could have stayed longer.
