Maleme Mare

Our 2nd stay at the Maleme Mare and it will not be our last! Firstly the hotel is beautiful and immaculately clean, the gardens are pretty and well maintained and both pool areas are clean with more than enough sun loungers. The rooms, both times we have been, have been more than big enough with very comfortable beds, kept lovely and clean and always plenty of fresh towels. The food is outstanding! Breakfast lunch and dinner there is always plenty of choice and everything is cooked perfectly. I have 1 very fussy child who I usually struggle getting good meals for at an all inclusive but he always has plates full and enjoyed everything he had, he even tried numerous new foods this time too! The snack bar is also brilliant, with 2 growing boys in tow, I’ve lost count this time how many times they came back to the pool with sandwiches wraps, pizza salad chips fresh fruit and ice creams!! The hotel is directly across the road from the beach which is beautiful especially at sunset which is my favourite time to go. It is a very peaceful location with plenty of shops and restaurants around it too. We love it here so much we cannot imagine ourselves going anywhere else. The staff put their all into this hotel and making the guests stay perfect. Stavros in particular is an absolute ray of sunshine! All staff go above and beyond and I think that shows when you meet all the repeat guests they have, or people who are sat on their loungers rebooking for next summer even before they leave! Why go anywhere else when you have found the perfect place?? My children say they don’t want to go anywhere else and need another trip Maleme Mare next time…. and I agree!

Fantastic Holiday at Maleme Mare Beach Resort! We've just returned from a week 26 stay at Maleme Mare Beach Resort, and it was an absolutely wonderful, lively, and relaxing holiday! There was plenty of space around the two lovely pools, and whenever we fancied a dip in the sea, the beautiful beach was right on our doorstep – truly the perfect combination. The food deserves a chapter of its own! We enjoyed three daily meals with everything our hearts could desire. Beyond the lavish buffets, there were fantastic snacks like delicious Greek salad and fresh pizza slices, which perfectly tidied us over between meals. From 10:30 AM, we could enjoy wine, beer, and raki cocktails, and from 6:30 PM, there was a wide selection of cocktails to choose from – ideal for celebrating the holiday spirit. The entertainment three times a week was a huge hit! We really got to sing and dance, which contributed to a wonderful atmosphere. But best of all was Stavros! His singing and infectious laughter created such great energy and a total vibe throughout the resort. And we can't forget Sasha at the bar, who is also exceptional! Every single member of the staff was fantastic, making our stay even more enjoyable. We can definitely give our very best recommendations for Maleme Mare Beach Resort – it's a place we would happily return to!

It's a great hotel with great and helpful staff, always smiling and with good energy, our family been more then happy for our stay here, I'm sure we will come back again 😀 😊 definitely a place to visit, you have beach 30 meters from the hotel too. Two pools, fitness center what's not to like 😎🌞 great buffet with loads of new dishes each day. They also went in a extra bit and celebrated me and my wife's birtday with cake and drinks 🍸 😄

Wow where do I start. We arrived at past midnight and Stavros was waiting outside to greet us and had saved us some food. Each and every staff member were friendly and extremely helpful. We would like to give a massive shout out to Aris who made an effort with us each day, what a lovely guy and we feel as though we’ve left with a friend. 3 nights a week there’s entertainment on at the bar. Sasha is always working hard and there’s a big selection of cocktails in the evening. By the end of the night everyone is up dancing and laughing. The food is perfectly presented and huge selection. Salads, soup, pasta, pie, freshly cooked meats to name a few. We especially enjoyed the giros and bbq evening. Stavros greeting everyone on bbq night with shots of raki was a lovely touch. Plenty of sun lounges which are really comfy, beach towels are also provided. The hotel is beautifully presented and clean, with cleaners and maintenance workers working all day taking pride in the areas. Our room was spacious, comfy beds and great view from the balcony. I recommend watching the sunrise on the beach if you’re an early riser, very peaceful start to the day. Also the sun sets on the other side of the beach with is also beautiful. Overall we had an amazing week at Maleme Mare. We would highly recommend it if you’re after a week of relaxing in this friendly, family feel hotel.

Where to start. A lovely hotel in a quiet and peaceful area with exceptional staff who cannot do enough for you. Rooms are nice and clean and there is plenty of space. Buffet food with plenty of choice. Entertainment 3 times a week which was nice. 2 swimming pools though would recommend the one with the children's pool as it does catch the sun well from around 12pm. The beach just over the road though is a pebble beach so it can be a little uncomfortable to walk barefoot. A couple of supermarkets and restaurants are 5 minutes walk away, and the main bus stop about 10 minutes steady walk away across from the Synca supermarket. The bus does get cramped and hot so I would recommend taking a bottle of water with you.

Where to start …after learning that the resort was quiet we were going to change our booking ..so so glad we didn’t !! The hotel is amazing, lovely big rooms which are cleaned daily by the staff , which leads me to mention all the staff , every single one of them were warm , welcoming and couldn’t do enough for you . Special mentions to Eleanor on reception ( give this girl a raise !) who made us giggle every day , and to our boy from the valleys Aris, what a wonderful human he is , putting up with our banter (and matching it 😂) he’s brilliant with young and old alike , we left feeling like family , and that’s the beauty of a smaller hotel . This isn’t a party town but is great for a base to explore and we will definitely be back , the beachfront location , food and rooms made this the perfect holiday , would highly recommend! ❤️
