Unbelievable time (unfortunately only 4days ) wish we’d have planned our holiday properly . Smiles all the time from the staff regardless of the request . Out of this world view of the river from our room which was spacious and modern . Set and a la carte menus both nice to fuel you for the safaris .

The resort is good value for money, no luxury, bungalows could be renovated, overall resort maintenance poor. Breakfast really good and so is the restaurant food and service. Reception staff very weak couldn’t even find our booking. Rooms are ok but not very clean. Stay in a family room far better than a bungalow. Watch out for snakes and wild animals.

Nice rooms, some with a view. Layout nice. Shower needs updating. Excellent staff. You feel very wellcome. Unfortunately the restaurant is extremely slow when choosing from the menu. Both lunch & dinner. Took 1,5 hours for starter (nacho’s). Not acceptable. Location is perfect next to Melalane gate. Bar is excellent ad well with nice service. Good espresso’s. Stellar view from the lunch deck overlooking the riverbed with hippo’s, crockodile, elephants and giraffe. A must see!

I called to make a booking for one night as it was late. The guy I spoke to told me there was a room available, however, I would have to make a booking reservation via email. I sent the email and got no response. If you don’t want people making bookings, rather say so instead of giving us false hope, especially at night. Sies!! It’s been a few days and the email still hasn’t been responded to.

Stayed for one night before we went to Kruger which is just down the road. We stayed in a delux room which had a great view of the river. Food and staff let it down. Dinner buffet was supposed to start at 7pm, but was not ready at 7.30 pm so we were offered a burger instead which we were happy with. However on checkout they tried to charge me for the burgers as they were off the lunch menu & not part of the DBB package - we hadn’t even seen a menu! Breakfast was a bit hit & miss, as you had to know who to ask to get eggs & then wait around for them. Breakfast staff really not helpful, however watching the hippos from the deck made up for the poor restaurant experience. We would possibly stay again purely due to location & view.

We had a wonderful stay at Pestana Kruger. Friendly staff, great service and clean rooms. Our room had a view to the river and we could enjoy watching Elephants, hippos and their babies, and crocodiles from our balcony. The kids loved the pool including an amazing waterslide!

No customer care at all. My mom broke her enkel on their deck due to bad lighting and no sign "mind small step" . Not even one staff member game to help, no indecent report completed, no assistance offered, no follow up done. Communication to management ignored. Extremely dirty kitchen visible from guest view, staff will put out old pastries / muffins ect and stand and eat the freshly baked goods behind the cook out. Need to clear your won tables as service staff are to busy chatting to each other, general maintenance needs attention.
