Nice view on the river and sunset. There is a good restaurant at the hotel. Saw elephant right behind the restaurant and the pool. Appx 15 min to the gate

Очень классная локация, с шикарным видом на реку, были замечены: бегемоты, буйвол, антилопы. Номер просторный, чистый, уборка каждый день. Неплохой завтрак. Прекрасный бассейн с панорамным видом на реку. В 10 минутах езды въезд в парк Крюгера.
Единственное, в ванной нет вытяжки, белье и полотенца долго сохнут.

Отдыхали вдвоём с женой. Лодж очень удачно расположен прям на Крокодил ривер, до въезда в парк Крюгер (Малелане) 15 минут на авто, пешком до центра городка 20 минут. Животные подходят очень близко, не выходя из отеля видели слонов, бегемотов, крокодилов и антилоп. Сам лодж неплохой, но требуется ремонт, очень всё «уставшее» но всё работает, завтрак достаточно неплохой, потом работает ресторан с 11 утра и до 8 вечера. Есть небольшой бассейн, который очень спасает в жару. Персонал приветливый, девочка на ресепшн нам во многом помогла. Вобщем всё хорошо!

Rio Vista is a piece of Heaven on earth, from the food to the friendly staff and breathtaking views. Lounging in the pool, I saw rhinos, crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and cheetahs in the river below. Anita is an exceptional host, so helpful and friendly. The food is excellent with a wide variety on the menu. I had the best prawn dish ever! The lodge itself is safe and secure and located within walking distance to shops. My towels and bed linen were changed and the room cleaned daily. The bed was the most comfortable bed I've ever slept in. There was also a complimentary laundry service available. I met a group of people who have been returning guests for 18 years. That said it all for me! I've travelled extensively, but my week in Rio Vista has been by far my best experience to date. Thank you, Anita and your wonderful staff, for the holiday of a lifetime in the most idyllic of settings. I cannot recommend Rio Vista highly enough. 10/10 all round!

Worse room in the hotel ! More like staff accommodation with a bath ! Stuck at the far end of the hotel with some horrible communal balcony with old trusty tables with tools and things scattered around, aircon doesn’t work ! Windows haven’t been cleaned in months, overlooks what looks like the staff laundry!! vastly overpriced !!! Shame because standard rooms are lovely

We actually stayed at Kruger View Lodge on the same property but couldn't find on this site! Accommodation and view of Kruger, Croc River etc was really great. Had friend from overseas so was impressed. Clean simple accommodation. Nice and quiet atmosphere. Easy walk in the evening to Rio Vista and The Deck Restaurant. Bush atmosphere (on the river), food and service great. Thanks for a lovely stay.

What a wonderful start to our trip to Kruger. The location on the Crocodile River is simply amazing. There were yellow weaver birds, eagles, hippos, bushbuck, waterbuck and more. Our room was clean and comfortable. The service was very warm and welcoming. It was very convenient to go pick up groceries and other supplies in Malelane. We also picked up a sim card for our phone right in the Spar grocery store. We only stayed one night but I really wished we had stayed one more. This lodge was the best value of all the places we stayed in South Africa.
