We had a wonderful stay at this very special hotel and would not hesitate to recommend it. At the point of booking we explained that we needed two rooms side by side - perfectly accommodated. The rooms are comfortable and relaxing with plenty of space. The breakfast was amazing - something we looked forward to every day. But the real magic of this place is the ambience and welcome created by the owner and their family - it’s out of this world. Perfectly professional but so natural- we always felt superbly looked after. And finally, the setting of this hotel in the beautiful countryside but conveniently close to the town was perfect. A truly great stay and a perfect launch pad for our trip to Flanders.

Comfortable Stay with Great Service
The room was clean, and the hotel provided everything we needed, including a terrific breakfast. The staff were very friendly and made us feel very welcome.

Great location between Ghent and Brugge. Very clean spacious comfortable room with excellent breakfast served. Friendly, helpful staff. Just off the main road but not affected by traffic noise. Could do with a pub to discuss day's adventures.

Really good and a great room for a family as the kids were upstairs and had a lounge and beds, breakfast was excellent also, the staff were very helpful

This was our first stop on a European tour. Two nights rest and relaxation before heading to Germany. Warm friendly welcome and excellent ‘walk round’ hotel facilities. Receptionist booked a table for us at the restaurant next door ( more later). Room was clean and functional, the only thing wrong was the safe didn’t work - and despite reporting it to reception, it remained ‘broken’ throughout our stay (hence the 4 not 5 stars). Breakfast was delicious and set us up for the day! A question to the receptionist about local bus routes was answered quickly and more appropriately accurately. Overall a very good start to our tour and a highly recommended location may be off the beaten track but worked for us as did the 2200 close down. The ‘attached’ restaurant is pricey but the food was excellent worth the expense. Be aware that the hotel does do basic food until 2200.
