Booked in the name of Laura and visited yesterday. What an absolutely cracking pub. Great food and very tasty larger. Staff were very friendly and welcoming. Would definitely visit again.

Friendly welcome with cracking food . The staff are really friendly and welcoming. A proper village pub with lovely fire and homely feel. The owners have breathed life back into the pub and the pizza night is a real winner. Drinks and food are very reasonable … I would definitely make time to visit here if you are holidaying in the South Hams

What a massive disappointment used to be so good, steak was well over cooked,tough and tastless, chips under cooked, tomato under cooked and hard,peas hard, chef went out to smoke twice and both times didn't wash his hands on returning to the kitchen, bar staff were lovely but obviously know what it's like as not once we're we asked if it was alright! Won't be returning!

Despite suffering a flood overnight a power surge and power cut the inn was open for business the service was excellent the staff apologised that there might be a delay but our drinks and food were served quickly The meal roast lamb with all the trimmings was superb well presented well cooked and delicious Well done to everyone and thanks for a great lunch

We have stayed at a friends property local to the Old Inn a few times over the last three years and have been in for (quite) a few drinks and the occasional meal. We cannot give the proprietors Shan and Glyn (and all of their wonderful staff) enough praise, we have found them all to be both friendly, attentive and helpful. In addition they serve a great pint (and a very good selection of other drinks!) together with a well proportioned menu and the food has always been fantastic (fish chowder, yum..) Praise where praise is due, well done the Shan, Glyn and all the team. S, R and the Shar-pei's (luna & tommi)

Fantastic weekend at the Old Inn. Our rooms were lovely, comfy and cosy. The food over the weekend was fantastic, you could not ask for more. Shan and Glyn were perfect hosts, made us feel really welcome. Thank you so much.

We went to The Old Inn for Sunday Lunch for a special birthday. There was a large family group of 16. It was a really great occasion as the restaurant was decorated with banners and balloons and the food was brilliant. Most of us had the roast that came with a lovely selection of vegetables. Two had the vegetarian option and some of the children choose from the menu. All the food was first class and the service exceptional which made for a really happy occasion. Thank you so much to all the staff and I would highly recommend the Old Inn.

A very good pub .. Good beer Attentive friendly staff Fish chowder was the best I have ever had The chilli dip could have been a bit spicier My friends had fish and chips also very good Will be returning !

I only ate at here, it was really good! Genuinely homemade food that tasted great, the atmosphere was really nice too. Really nice to go into a pub that's not been made all corporate, or totally pretentious.
