Stay 1 night with 2 room booked. Location is strategic,near to everywhere,behind the trans shopping mall,but room space quite small and quite old furniture. Swimming pool is great and clean. Reception staff was nice n good hospitality and not forget to mention that rest room is very clean. Thumbs up..

If you'd like a hotel with a view in Malang, and centrally located inside the city, this is the hotel for you. It gives me a great value for the money. I stayed at standard twin bed room with a balcony with mountain view. The location is superb. I can walk 10-15 minutes to Kawi Street, where many restaurants located. However, a few things that can be improved. I went to the gym at 6 am, and no one there. However, AC wasn't turned on. So, after 20 minutes of intense workouts, you'll be drenched with sweat. No towel inside the gym was available. Bring your own from your room and bottle water as well. Maintenance and house keeping can be improved. I visited my sister who stayed on the 7th fl executive suite, and there was a hole in the curtain. And the room could use more deep cleaning. The bed sheets in my room can be replaced with the one without hole in it. With the years, some of the amenities could be replaced.

We arrived on January 1st to stay for 1 night, immediately felt impressed with how modern it is and how friendly the customer service was. Was treated to a hot tea on arrival, and was very welcomed by staff. Was taken to the room by the bell boy named Burhan. He advised on on local foods and best places to visit. He then gave us a note later which had many recommendations, we thought this was exceptional service. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay, would love to come again.

The place is very strategic, there are a lot of food around, beside Alfa mart. Suitable for you who are backpacking travelers and do not bring vehicles. If you bring a private vehicle, the parking lot is not supported because it is narrow, a little and hot even though there is someone to take care of at night. It's pretty clean with a competitive price that is given trip.com . For those of you who bring children, the room is quite spacious.. so the kids have space to play.

I was staying there with my family. Totally got Balinese vibes with a good ambience. Room is just common as usual but the outdoor area is great. Maybe you need to improve your hospitality of staffs. Sorry, as I am a hotelier too, I would say the hospitality should be increased more. I was about to re-schedule my stay but I canceled because it was not FOC. But then when I checked-in the staff was asking me for the charge of re-schedule (in fact I didn't re-schedule). I mean how could you missed it? I also was asking for the hairdryer to be sent to my room but the staff didn't give it directly until I need to call back and remind and no sorry at all on the phone. Oh I can't remember the name but there was a guy that assist me to the room and when I met him in the next day he still remembered me and greeting me in polite way. I didn't get his name but he has clear skin and thin body. Say my thank to him. But overall it was great to have you (Ubud Cottage Malang) for my holiday. Seriously, didn't mean to say anything bad. It was just suggestion to improve. Thanks

Luckily we were only here for one night. The first impression of the hotel was good. The reception area was clean and airy and the breakfast area looked lovely, especially as part of it is out in the open ( I later found out that this is where the smokers sit, so had to have breakfast inside). Our room was right next to the train station, and while the trains did not disturb us the announcements did. Our room also overlooked the pool and main road. The bedding in our room was grubby and so were the towels, my towel looked as though someone had used it to wipe their dirty feet on. We had no hanging space or cupboard, just 2 coat hangers to put our clothes on.

As good & as comfortable as that, prends. Don't think you'll be comfortable. Feels like home really. This exceeds expectations. At first, I only booked 1 day. Oh, add another day. Now I want to book again for the next 3 days. Everything's all awesome. The bathroom is clean, the place for prayer is wide, the room is comfortable, the staff is also friendly. Cuuus don't hesitate to stay at Bobobox :)

We stayed at Room 48. The room was clean and neat. There’s only one electricity socket. No air conditioner, but a fan is available. No hangers, but 2 wardrobes are provided. The lightbulb was flickering. The bathrooms are outside, they are clean and water is running well.
