Stay 1 night with 2 room booked. Location is strategic,near to everywhere,behind the trans shopping mall,but room space quite small and quite old furniture. Swimming pool is great and clean. Reception staff was nice n good hospitality and not forget to mention that rest room is very clean. Thumbs up..

I stayed for one night. It’s not far from train station, less than 20 minutes walk. The hotel allowed me to check-in earlier despite no personal request when booking. I booked the cheapest rate without breakfast because I didn’t know what they offer for breakfast during these times. One thing I remember the most is that the towel and linen smelled nice, I think it’s jasmine. Amenities were enough, including slippers. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Luggage rack and door handle were not in a good condition (screws were loose), and the safe box was locked, I couldn’t use it. Hotel played instrumental musics on speakers, but it’s quite disturbing when it’s 10pm and you could hear it from the room. Cleanliness need to be improved. I found the dirts from previous guest under the bed frame, and public restroom on lobby wasn’t clean enough. Receptionists were ok, I didn’t interact with other staffs. I don’t mind staying here again.

If you'd like a hotel with a view in Malang, and centrally located inside the city, this is the hotel for you. It gives me a great value for the money. I stayed at standard twin bed room with a balcony with mountain view. The location is superb. I can walk 10-15 minutes to Kawi Street, where many restaurants located. However, a few things that can be improved. I went to the gym at 6 am, and no one there. However, AC wasn't turned on. So, after 20 minutes of intense workouts, you'll be drenched with sweat. No towel inside the gym was available. Bring your own from your room and bottle water as well. Maintenance and house keeping can be improved. I visited my sister who stayed on the 7th fl executive suite, and there was a hole in the curtain. And the room could use more deep cleaning. The bed sheets in my room can be replaced with the one without hole in it. With the years, some of the amenities could be replaced.

I was staying there with my family. Totally got Balinese vibes with a good ambience. Room is just common as usual but the outdoor area is great. Maybe you need to improve your hospitality of staffs. Sorry, as I am a hotelier too, I would say the hospitality should be increased more. I was about to re-schedule my stay but I canceled because it was not FOC. But then when I checked-in the staff was asking me for the charge of re-schedule (in fact I didn't re-schedule). I mean how could you missed it? I also was asking for the hairdryer to be sent to my room but the staff didn't give it directly until I need to call back and remind and no sorry at all on the phone. Oh I can't remember the name but there was a guy that assist me to the room and when I met him in the next day he still remembered me and greeting me in polite way. I didn't get his name but he has clear skin and thin body. Say my thank to him. But overall it was great to have you (Ubud Cottage Malang) for my holiday. Seriously, didn't mean to say anything bad. It was just suggestion to improve. Thanks

I have made a mistake when entering the check in date on the Santika website. I should have checked in on February 13th but booked a hotel room on February 12th. When I checked in I just realized it. I asked the front office staff if they could help me to change the date. I was asked to wait, I came at 0730 and she said the staff came at 0800. While waiting I contacted the Kampi hotel in Surabaya -my next destination, which I booked through Santika website too- asked if it possible to change check-in date. They said no problem. At 0820 I asked the front office staff. She said she received information that the date could not be changed, She told me to use the room and get breakfast. I asked her if the hotel was full, she said not really. She told me I can check out at 1. I like the front Desk staff, she waa nice and help full. I understand this was my mistake but the hotel was not helpful at all.

Just go away from this hotel. I booked for superior with kingsize bed, when i checked in, they told that only twin bed available. Well, then i take the key and find my room. Surprisingly the room is sooo bad, the lamp is broken, no hot water, no tv channel at all, wifi isn't working, dirty and spot on linen and pillow. And the best part is the bed is so uncomfortable, so i decided to ask for refund and walk out the hotel, they told me that they can't help me with the refund. The best part is when i ask for refund the receptionist is having me with his mouth full of food, very bad service and place, also spooky. I stayed in room 333 if you wonder

Delicious snacks, fast respond to reload, clean room, polite and humble staff even if we wore ordinary fashion,the kids happy to run along the lobby :p, but the hotel need to reload the toys at the playground too.. overall nice hotel and worth it to have event andstay here again..dont forget to send me the discount staycation voucher Atria..<3 Egadzova12@gmail.com

One of the best hotel in hospitlity industry.. It was nice 2 days stayed here..at 101 Hotel Malang Oj. Since 2018 ,101 is the first hotel on my list. I visited Malang because my daughter studied at Brawijaya University.location near the center of the town,nice clean room and comfort with the view of mount Arjuna.I love it. Thanks to the staff who worked here,Erwin,Wulan Nafisa,Amanda ,Rully ,and Ravin etc,for apl the attention and services,and the surprise for me and my family. I believed this hotel will be doing great and successin the future.

Ibis have shown that they deserve credit for their efforts to maintain their standard of cleanliness. The room is clean and the location is strategic enough to be in the centre of Malang City with a nearby mart and coffee shop. I love to come and stay in Ibis again. Thank you Ibis!
