Staying at the Shalimar hotel was an extraordinary experience. The rooms are comfortable, clean and complete with facilities, including typical Malang snacks provided in the room. The breakfast menu also has a lot of variety and is delicious. The hotel is not spacious but cool. Unfortunately the car park is not large enough. Overall, the Shalimar hotel is highly recommended as a choice to stay in Malang city.

The hotel is right beside MOG, 1 of the biggest Mall in Malang. They also has basement connector from Hotel to Mall so you wont get wet when its rain. The hotel room is clean. If you are lucky, you can see mountain from your room. The variaties of food not so many, i have to queue for long to get my eggs ready. They have good jamu (beras kencur, sinom and kunyit asem). If you are never been to Malang, i recommended you stayed in this hotel since near to many food places such as Gang Djangrik, Pecel Kawi, Bakso President, etc.

This hotel has a strategic location, which is in tge middle of the city. It is near shopping centers and restaurants. The room in this hotel is spacious, clean, and comfortable with a modern interior design. This hotel is a perfect place for family vacation, meetings or conventions because of equipped facilities that it has. The menu is vary whether it is western cuisine and especially the local Malang food. Moreover, the guests are satisfied because of the friendliness of the staffs that make the characteristics of Indonesian citizens. Specifically, I would like to appreciate to two particular people in this hotel which are Mr. Saiful and Mr. Harris that have served me with great professionalism and kindness, they can become an example for the other staffs. Overall, this hotel is a perfect place for any occations when visiting Malang. Thank you very much.

There's a different atmosphere in this hotel, unlike a normal hotel that when we've entered the room or into the lobby of the hotel, it's being controlled by the atmosphere of the hotel so exclusive that the outside sounds could be very little. The sound of the brothers of bakso and the voice of Adzan can still be heard here, even if the night arrives there are still voices of animals like crickets and there are also the sound of the bells, as usually in houses or villages. It doesn't seem to be a very suitable hotel culture, but it turns out that after a few times the hotel talks to the guests, it becomes unique and very popular with the visitors. As reminded them of the atmosphere of their village, of course it is one of its own value, from the concept of building, this hotel has a modern Dutch colony, so it is increasingly supporting the atmosphere of the guests who stay. - Okay.

The hotel is cool, the location is strategic, clean but unfortunately the facilities are not ok, the first time the air conditioner is not cold, the water is not hot, the bath soap is empty, so we have to report n to new repairs to enjoy the comfort. more for the hotel pay attention to that before guests enter the room.thank you.
