Malaka Hotels with Airport pickup service

Very sure this is the best hotel in Senggigi, or even in Lombok, both by service and design. Make sure to try the swimming pool, and go to the beach club down below. There’s also a gallery that sell stuff like bikinis, hats, sandals, etc, at a very reasonable price. Kudos to the developer and management.

The resort was great! Very nice and especially clean rooms, bed was wonderful. The food at the restaurant was really delicious and besides that also very cheap. They owe the 5 stars to everything, but especially the staff, super nice people and helped me with everything.

The time spent here wasn't enough. Even though the first day we were put in a room with a crazy air conditioner that would turn on by itself and stay on, even when switched off, causing me to become sick the day after, the staff quickly sorted that out and we put us in another great room. The breakfast area, pool and bar area literally right on the beach was so precious. The food was super delicious. And the people at the spa were very lovely. Oh and the bathroom was stunning. Would definitely stay at this resort again if ever again I'm in Lombok

The staff at Kayana were all very polite, courteous and helpful. Each and everyone never fail to greet you when they see you. Service was tip top. Pool has some dust/sand particles and insects sometimes but it’s near a beach so maybe that’s why. Location is near the harbour and has direct access to beach which can also be accessed by the public. Good if you are planning to travel to Gili Islands. However outside the villa there is nothing much, will have to drive to go to nearest restaurant and not easy to get taxi. We had a driver who brought us everywhere. The Blues Restaurant in the villa was sufficient for us - served good food, very affordable too and overlooks beautiful view especially at sunset. The inclusive breakfast was also worth it. Have to mention that the villa is very near a mosque and the calls to prayer starts as early as 5am. We did not mind it at all though. Overall Kayana made our stay in Lombok an amazing one!

If you like to spend some leisure time or parent-child time quietly, here can give you the most comfortable and comfortable enjoyment, the place is not large, the waiters are very warm and thoughtful, this feels like home here. Of course, there will be some small bugs in the tropics, but every night there will be a little brother to help you get rid of the insects. No matter what you eat, they are on the list. Lombok foi um dos locais escolhidos por nós para passarmos 5 dias, durante a nossa recente viagem pela Indonésia. O Sheraton Senggigi foi o resort onde ficámos. É uma propriedade que se localiza junto à praia, no meio de vegetação luxuriante. Apesar das infra-estruturas do resort estarem muito usadas e com decoração antiga, o enquadramento cénico é único e, nem que seja só por isso, vale a pena conhecê-lo. O resort fica a 1 hora, de táxi, do aeroporto e como tivémos problemas com uma das malas que não apareceu (deficiente serviço da Super Air Jet), fizémos um check in tardio. Vínhamos com fome, mas percebemos que a cozinha da propriedade encerra às 22:30 e a partir dessa hora não há possibilidade de ter aqui uma refeição. A alternativa foi pedir comida de um restaurante de fora do hotel, através da App Grab. O check in foi feito com simpatia, o nosso estatuto Titanium foi reconhecido, fomos acompanhados ao quarto e foi-nos feito um upgrade para uma suite (#5348). Esta era bastante antiga, embora espaçosa, com quarto separado da sala. Infelizmente, começou a chover bastante e começou a haver água a cair do teto da casa de banho. Assim, no dia seguinte mudaram-nos para outra suite (#6152). Esta estava renovada, com algum cheiro a mofo, mas como havia um ambientador perfumante, o cheiro tornava-se menos desagradável. Tinha também sala e quarto separados, vários sofás para podermos relaxar, uma pequena mesa e duas televisões. A cama King era confortável, o AC funcionou adequadamente e havia café e água gratuitos, repostos diariamente. A casa de banho era ampla com um lavabo, banheira e duche separados. A housekeeping, incluindo serviço de turndown, fez um trabalho eficiente. Tomámos o pequeno-almoço buffet, incluído na tarifa, diariamente, e este disponibilizou uma variedade regular de opções. Também fizemos as principais refeições no resort e a comida servida foi de boa qualidade. A lista dos vinhos era limitada e mesmo dos que constavam, a maioria estava esgotada. De notar que os membros Elite tinham 20% de desconto nas despesas de restauração. O staff do hotel foi acolhedor, simpático e solícito. Mas, na realidade, o que nos surpreendeu foi a beleza e o envolvimento do local onde está implantado o resort: vegetação luxuriante, jardins extremamente bem cuidados, decorado com inúmeras estatuetas, algo místicas, piscina também com decoração a condizer, contribuindo para o misticismo do lugar. A praia de areia preta, vulcânica, é banhada por mar calmo e tépido, embora a cor da água seja escura e não das mais atrativas. Sem dúvida, que o grande trunfo da propriedade são os seus exteriores que, embora antigos, lhe impregnam um ar misterioso, de santuário perdido no meio da selva. É verdade que o resort necessita de obras de renovação urgentes nalguns locais, mas esperamos que os proprietários, quando as fizerem, preservem os exteriores tal como estão. This is a quite new, well-maintained mini-resort hotel in the middle of nowhere, adjacent to a row of shanty food stalls (warungs), on a nice stretch of west-facing Lombok beach. It’s a solid hour and a half from Lombok airport and you’ll appreciate the airport transfer in a brand new vehicle, even if you’ll be struck by the juxtaposition (and perhaps engage in some self-reflection) as you look out the window at the island’s extensive poverty. The beach by the hotel is pleasant - though not “white sand”, as some have suggested. The sunsets are magnificent and a real highlight of the hotel. There was a particularly peaceful moment of total aesthetic perfection during one evening’s sunset that I absolutely treasured. The staff are all very friendly and highly attentive, with mixed levels of English. Generally enough for mutual understanding. The two minor gripes with the service are that: (a) a couple of things we’d asked about had to be followed up more than once before they materialised; and (b) food orders generally took forever to arrive. Neither issue was a big deal but, on the latter issue, I’m still mystified at how it can take 45 minutes for a meal to be brought out even on occasions when we were the only ones eating. The wifi was generally good throughout the hotel. The rooms - especially the ocean-facing rooms - are fantastic. I could happily have spent the week working away on the balcony, listening to the gentle waves and looking out over the water. The room is well-appointed, with a large, firm bed and a very pleasant private outdoor shower. It is usually serviced twice daily and the supplies of (essential) bottled water replenished. Be aware that, due to the proximity to a nearby mosque, you will likely be woken up each day (in our case at around 4.15am) by the amplified call to prayer from the local Muezzin. Not much you can do about that; you’re in Indonesia. The hotel pool is wonderful and the sun beds excellent and comfortable, though the muzak played through speakers by the beach and pool areas can be a bit much at times. The individual jacuzzis on the balcony of each room are a bit “extra” - probably a little unnecessary and over the top - but certainly not a negative. In short, the attractive marketing pictures are, indeed, a fair reflection of the hotel. In our case, we had a couple of massages included in our package and they were excellent. Kudos to the spa staff. We also booked two day trips through the hotel during our stay: - a snorkelling trip to the Gili Islands; and - a two-hour drive to a guided waterfall hike in the middle of the island, followed by a 90 minute drive to the large mosque in Mataram and another 45 minute drive to a coastal Hindu temple. The trips themselves were good but there were two issues with them. Firstly, they were bloody overpriced. 3.5 million rupiah for each trip was very expensive but we weren’t in the mood to shop around so we just went with it. Secondly, the hotel offered no
