My husband and I stayed at Royal Avila for 3d2n for the second part of our honeymoon. We chose this place cos of the quiet location and the view. We were checked in by front desk staff Echa. She had prepared a honeymoon bed decoration for us, a cheese tart in room and free one time minibar. Prior to my arrival, I had requested for high floor but we were given a room on the first floor..however this was ok with us for the short stay. We also requested for quiet room and thankfully our room was far from the noisy beach club.
The room was just like photos, and it was super clean. Soundproofing not that great we could hear the neighbours from next door and upstairs.
Echa was very bubbly and helpful. From checking us in, to driving the buggy and helping out at the restaurant and sending us off after checkout. She remembered our names and greeted us everyday. The other staff at the restaurant (didn't get their names) remembered which room we were from.
We didn't leave the resort during our stay and had all our meals in the restaurant. We liked the open concept of the dining area, with the tables being spaced far enough for privacy. The food was great but the portion was a bit small.
We also booked a couple session at the spa. The therapists' skills were average..and the jacuzzi in the spa had so many insects. We found this a bit too expensive for the experience.
The resort was a great place to slow down and relax. The room was very comfortable and we had good sleep. Sunset views from the balcony was amazing.
Overall I would recommend this resort for a chill holiday!
