The Kayana Beach Lombok Reviews

I must say we really enjoyed a lot during our visit in Lombok by choosing this hotel. Even though the hotel is relatively new compared to others, their services are top notch especially the food, all served in ala carte to keep it fresh everyday. You will have direct access to the beach too by choosing the sea view villa and it only takes one minute to the beach every morning. The staff are also highly trained in keeping your privacy secured. Besides that you can also approach the staff for Gili island hopping. The boat will ferry you from the beach in front of the hotel so that you don’t even have to worry about being late. The water is so clear that you can also snorkelling at the beach, however bring your own gear for hygiene purposes. The location of the hotel is quite secluded, so do expect to spend most of your time in the hotel unless you arrange your own day trip. You will never regret choosing this hotel!

The hotel is awesome. I really liked the private swimming pool in my villa, the outdoor shower and the bed. The breakfast is amazing (the scrambled eggs are the best I've ever had). Everything is clean and in good style. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The only downside is that the beach quality is not great.

The staff at Kayana were all very polite, courteous and helpful. Each and everyone never fail to greet you when they see you. Service was tip top. Pool has some dust/sand particles and insects sometimes but it’s near a beach so maybe that’s why. Location is near the harbour and has direct access to beach which can also be accessed by the public. Good if you are planning to travel to Gili Islands. However outside the villa there is nothing much, will have to drive to go to nearest restaurant and not easy to get taxi. We had a driver who brought us everywhere. The Blues Restaurant in the villa was sufficient for us - served good food, very affordable too and overlooks beautiful view especially at sunset. The inclusive breakfast was also worth it. Have to mention that the villa is very near a mosque and the calls to prayer starts as early as 5am. We did not mind it at all though. Overall Kayana made our stay in Lombok an amazing one!

We were greeted by a wonderful team. The place is serine and clean with huge bathroom. The bed is fantastically comfortable, this includes the extra bed that we have requested for triple sharing. We booked a Duplex with private swimming pool. Breakfast was served in-house or @restaurant. The restaurant is at the hilltop with a beautiful view which adds to the plus point staying here. Will surely return to this resort.

The environment is very bad. There are garbage and fishing boats on the beach. It is not recommended to stay.

We cannot speak highly enough about this resort and all the staff. The private beach front villa we had was exceptional, beautifully presented and incredibly comfortable with views that were simply amazing, especially at sunset. Our private pool was the perfect size, and it was so convenient to just step out of the villa and straight into the pool. The restaurant was fantastic with a great variety of dishes to choose from and the views out to the bay were spectacular. Apart from the all the amenities, the real treasure of this resort is its staff, nothing is a problem for them, and they go out of their way to make your stay comfortable and memorable. We couldn’t have asked for anything more and they made our holiday a great experience. Thank you!

The hotel view and the facilities at the hotel are nice but our stayed was ruined by staff at the restaurant. They treated as differently because we are Indonesian. I was observed the staff at the restaurant were really nice to foreigners. Even when we’re waiting for the buggy at the restaurant, the staff was about to offer foreigners than us who already came firts. I have been staying in many 5 star hotel in Indonesia and abroad, the service at the Kayana was the worst, not recommended for Indonesian!

We had a perfect stay at the Kayana Beach. We had a Duplex room and everything could not be better. Very nice bed, lovely private pool, lots of space and a beautiful bathroom. We felt very welcome and the staff was very friendly and did everything to make our stay the best ever. And they succeeded. The restaurant is very good, beautiful view, good food and excellent service. Give our warm regards and thanks to your staff. Thanks for having us. Matur tampiasi!

It wasn't our first time visiting this place. We're happy repeater guests.  The main reason why we fall in love with this place is not only because of its perfect beachfront location, luxurious design and amenities, but is more because of the hospitality services they provided. That is what makes this place different.  From the moment you arrive, you can feel the sense of strong hospitality from their front liners staff. The security guard at the gate will smile at you before even asking you a question, same thing with the reception staff, they will greet you politely, escort you to the sofa to make you feel comfortable before processing your check in. And what is more welcoming than that? Again, beautiful places are everywhere and easy to find, but the one that delivers requires some effort to find it.  Nestled along the pristine shores of Kecinan beach in North Lombok, The Kayana Beach Lombok is a place that celebrates luxury, privacy and top level hospitality. It is a perfect place for honeymooners or those looking for a romantic getaway.  Situated only 1.5 hour boat ride away from Bali, you can enjoy a seamless journey to this idyllic paradise. Once you checked in, you wouldn't want to leave the resort.  But if you do want to explore the nearby places, Lombok's only themed park, Lombok Wildlife Park is only 20 minutes drive, the unique Sasak Bayan village is about an hour drive, the famous Tiu Kelep and Sendang Gile waterfalls is only 2 hours drive, and if you love watersport activities, the gili islands are within 10 to 15 minutes boat ride away.  We are a fan of this gorgeous resort and beyond happy to recommend it to everyone. 

We stayed at The Kayana Beach Lombok for one week. Originally planning 3 days however we had travel disruption while we were there with the port closure and extended our stay. The staff at Kayana went to every length imaginable to make sure we were comfortable, happy and smiling the whole time including calling local providers to reschedule our travel, coming in on their days off to provide our transfer, coming to our villa to say goodbye and checking our room after we left to make sure we hadn't left anything behind. The villas are beautiful and have every luxury you could need, cocktails on the beach, incredible food for breakfast, lunch & dinner, hammocks under the trees, snorkelling right out the front, tours to Gili leaving from their beach and the friendliest staff that truly felt like family. The bed is the best we slept in while away, laundry service is easy and quick, there is a turtle release program to the ocean and the staff stop at nothing to make sure your experience is a truly memorable one. Thankyou to Eka, Yanuar, Nora, Komang and Deni for making this one of the best hotel stays we have ever had anywhere in the world, we will definitely be back! ＜3
