Fabulous hotel situated right Infront of the beach. Very pleasant and helpful staff. Rooms made up with fresh towels every day. Comfortable room with a fantastic view overlooking the beach and sea. A modern and stylish shower room. Compact but perfectly adequate. Powerful shower with 2 heads. Food in the downstairs restaurant was excellent with friendly and helpful waiters and waitresses. At breakfast there was either a guitarist or organist playing relaxed music. The hotel is flanked either side by bars and restaurants which all were of a good standard and all quite laid back selling good tapas/food and drinks. The bar in La Chancla was very good. Another of my favourites was El Kiosco, just around the corner. Málaga centre is only a short taxi ride away. Overall a wonderful hotel, lovely staff and in a great position. I must point out that I came in November. I would imagine the area to be much busier and in the summer months.

Fantastic communications before arrival due to not checking in after midnight. Nice that room is at the rear to limit noise if you want to sleep. We stayed in Julio, the room had a modern feel, plenty of storage and hangers. Bathroom was modern and the shower was powerful. The bar and restaurant downstairs were busy and the staff were attentive. The place has a good feel about it. Us brits need to embrace the local culture, don’t forget it is a local resort and caters mainly for Spanish so don’t get het up if the staff appear miserable, they aren’t. Nice touch at breakfast and evening with live music.

Rude receptionist, lady with brown hair she is not welcoming to new guests at all. Would not recommend due to the unwelcoming attitude and food didn't taste good. The waiter staff are lovely. Location is okay but hard to get a taxi so would consider elsewhere.

The location of this small Hotel at the Beach-Front of Pedregalejo is perfect. It's a vibrant area where people meet in the numerous Beach Bars and Restaurants. Also La Chancla has its own Restaurant and Bar with also a lot of non-hotelguests which is a very good sign either. The Breakfast is until 12 👍 The rooftop terrace with whirlpool offers a fantastic view. I didn't make use of the self-service bar there. The whirlpool's water temperature is rather low - maybe fitting for hot summer evenings, but not really for fresh late March evenings. The room under the roof was cosy. There was no chest of drawers or so, just a clothes rail. But I didn't really miss it, because I was there alone for just a couple of days. It might me missed though for a longer stay of 2 weeks or so with some more cloths. The bathroom was nice with a larger than standard shower. The room was cleaned every day, but unfortunately the floor was never cleaned although with the days it got a bit sandy. Over all a perfect stay for me and I would definitely return!

Hotel not too bad, but definitely 3 star - by no means a luxury experience. We went to rent a day bed by the beach and was told it would be €18 for the remaining 2.5 hours of the day. We were about to accept but some kind Americans said that we could have theirs as they were leaving. The person managing the day beds nodded over to us and gave a ‘thumbs up’ and so we accepted the offer very happily. We happily paid for several drinks, as we were keen to not be seen to be taking advantage and we were enjoying our time there. We were very upset to be charged for €18 at the end by a man who had acted in a very deceptive way and who wouldn’t listen to reason. Sad end to what had been a lovely couple of hours.

Comfortable friendly hotel right on the beach-front. There is a top floor terrace with a jacuzzi. Lovely breakfast. Plenty of choices of places to eat and drink. As it is a little way out but easily accessible by bus, (about ten minutes and cheap and regular) it is less noisy at night. Recommended, and good for families.

The room was basic but functional.: bed ok, small bathroom, shower ok. The location is the attraction of the hotel in combination with the hospitality of the staff and the good food. Directly at the promenade and beach, informal and mix of locals and tourists.

A great little hotel for unwinding and watching the world go by. A small, beach front hotel with helpful and friendly staff and lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The hotel bar overlooks the beach and offers a good range of alternative food. The roof terrace is an ideal spot for watching the sun set over the Med. Frequent buses only take 20 minutes into the city centre, but it's easy to spend a few days in Pedregalejo, swimming at the beach right in front of the hotel, wandering along the Paseo before stopping off somewhere for some tapa or a drink.
