From a travel point of view this alternative lifestyle hostel/Capsule hotel is a refreshing change from the norm . I have stayed several times mainly because I love Málaga and the Malagueta Playa is so convenient for many attractions ~ Muelle Uno and the Port, restaurants and bars and 15 minutes walk to the fabulous Alcazaba, Teatro Romana Amphitheatre and Gibralfaro Mirador entrance and the Historic Quarter. I enjoy most of the facilities of Futurotel and am Hugely impressed at the Hard Work of the ' Small' staff team of dedicated people Recently I heard that 3 staff members were summarily dismissed by the Cash oriented conscienceless Owners/ Management . I understand the Reception team have joined the Union to support their very clear case for Employees terms and conditions and fare pay. I wish them every success because it's the Reception/Housekeeping team that makes the Futurotel a success. I URGE any Clients/Guests to consider this and Question the Punitive activities of the owner against this hard working Hotel Family. You have my Love, Support and understanding.~ Stephany, Maria , Celia, Javi, Luis, Antonio..etc~ Silvia,Myerlin, Maria ( unfairly sacked staff ) . John Daniel The owner/management have only a greedy exploitative tactic, NO Vision and no care or concern for their staff. John Daniel.

In general we loved this hotel! Friendly, helpful staff, great location in the heart of Malaga old town, quirky boutique hotel, clean and comfortable to say the least. Unfortunately,a total nightmare occurred! Awoken our second morning at 7.40, with an intruder in our room! They had a key and let themselves in!! I was in a deep sleep only to awaken to see a man standing next to my side of our bed! I screamed and yelled and he disappeared, only to return again a minute later as they opened the door again with a key,!! I screamed and screamed and they left! We felt so vulnerable, and luckily our cash etc was locked away in the room safe. The receptionist and hotel management had no idea how/why this happened! ????? No inside secondary locks or chain on the inside of our door either. That needs to be addressed Toc Hotel!

We stayed at Coeo Apartments for 6 days in May 2024 and enjoyed our stay immensely. The apartment was spacious, well equipped with everything we needed or required. The location of the apartment could not have been better, right in the heart of Malaga, Old Town, but no noise at all when inside the apartment. My only suggestion would be to install a magnifying makeup mirror in the bathroom due to the very soft lighting. I found it a bit difficult applying makeup each day.

good sound proofing, lightproof window blinds, compact room equipment. just a short walk from train station, check-in was quick and efficient. will definitely stay again.
lack of cloths hangers ( just 2) and an unfortunate placing of hooks just 50cm from floor to hang your shopping bags of something, you see that ppl desperately looked for additional hooks and took out those decorative metal plates.
but its something that eventually will get fixed after time.

PLUS In the center of the city, easy to reach (when booking, the hotel sends a good description of how to get there by public transport plus the address of some restaurants and shops). A recent building, very well maintained. The parking of the hotel is nearby (in 2023 per night 9 €). Bilingual receptionists (Spanish-English). The rooms are clean and tidy (in the bathroom a cup in glass, wrapped in plastic ...). A comfortable bed with a soft mattress, so your sleep is guaranteed. On the street side (also at the back?) there is a meter-high window with a balustrade. This gives a pleasant view. Across the street (see the photos of the hotel) there are some pubs and eateries, without music so just some pleasant chatting visitors. If you prefer peace and tranquillity, close the double window (consisting of two double-glazed doors). These four glass plates guarantee absolute silence. MINUS Only accommodation, no breakfast. But next to the supermarket is a pub (Luchi) that serves a great simple breakfast (in 2023 from 9 am). We stayed there twice, each time a very positive experience. All staff was super friendly and helpful! The hotel and the rooms were very very clean. Comfy bed and pillow, all amenities provided (only the conditioner wasn't provided). Minibar and safe present in the room, daily cleaning service. Breakfast was delicious with a sweet and savoury buffet selection and eggs and pancakes on request. Nice swimming pool but always very busy. The location is not great so keep that in mind! The closest beach is 30 minutes walking distance and you definitely need to take the bus/taxi to reach Malaga city centre. Uber is very cheap though.
The Travelodge Malaga Airport is a 3 star hotel with 114 luminous and comfortable rooms in the heart of the Costa del Sol. It has all the amenities for your business trips, and the location is great for those who prefer to enjoy a leisure getaway.

The hotel has its own parking, 2 meeting rooms and a restaurant where you can enjoy Mediterranean cuisine.
It is located 2 minutes from Malaga Costa del Sol Airport and 10 minutes drive from the city centre. The nearest beach is Sabana, just a 10-minute drive away, and accessible by public transport at the hotel entrance. The Palacio de Congresos is also just a 10-minute drive away.

I just stayed in the Campanile Malaga airport and would not recommend it.Firstly it is not as near the airport as the Campanile claim. The other airport hotels most of which i have used over the years are more easily accessed. The hotel is positioned near retail park on the outskirts of Malaga past the airport with no direct route to the airport. My taxi this morning Jan 2023 to the airport was 18 euros compared to for example the Budget Ibis or Hilton Garden village which average 8/ 10 euros. On the map it does look like the campanile is the closest hotel to the airport but it is not. The hotel is in what could only be called a small compound behind a retail park for ref. look for BIGASSOFA store and the hotel is in a dark back street behind it . The hotel appears to have limited secure parking but you can park on the street outside. The rooms are small compared to say the Ibis and have limited light and fresh air as the window at least in the small room we were allocated which was of the reception and down a corridor with no windows, stained carpet in corridor and through two fire doors. The small beds were clean, bathroom ok but could do with some remedial work. The hotel seems to have adopted the name Restaurant Campanile Malaga airport. The restaurant was not open and we were told by receptionist is not open at the weekends She advised us we could get food early evening at the retail park. The restaurant is a small area of the small reception which also houses a group of chairs and a TV which was continually showing silent football games when we were there. The receptionist informed us the ground floor rooms were the quietest rooms in the hotel. The room we were in was not quiet. The room next door had definitely more than 2 adults in it playing music loudly and screaming at tv from shortly after we arrived to the early hours of morning. The receptionist asked them twice to keep it down but was basically ignored. This resulted in us getting 2/3 hours sleep before our early morning Ryan Air flight. Overall a really bad experience and i would strongly recommend using any of the other airport hotels most of which are literally 5 mins on a direct main road to the airport terminal.

I'm so happy I finally found a place that I can say I've really enjoyed my time in.Staff who really know what it's all about-HOSPITALITY. Great welcome on my arrival, very comprehensive explanations as to where everything was and how to access things.I know people have complained about depositS for this that and the other-GET OVER IT.Ive stayed in higher end hotel who do the same. Eva ,Arthur and Fernando at Reception where excellent throughout my visit.I ate quite a bit at the hotel and I found the food good and the pleasantness and efficiency of all staff without exception to be wonderful. I asked for a room change on day two,as there was quite a loud group next to my original room and it was sorted immediately. The spa has all you could want also, and again a very pleasant guy takes care of things there. Finally, the room, again its got all you need.I had beautiful sea view, lovely dark wood floors, great shower and amenities aswell as wonderful Housekeeping. This hotel is mainly geared for LGBTQ client and as a member of that community I can recommend this hotel to you-Its great. Well done to everyone involved I'm making my first trip to Torremolinos so memorable and wonderful. John P Murphy xx

Outstanding
GGuest UserMy husband and I came to Malaga for a week, and chose Room Mate Valeria after being won over by the pictures of the brightly coloured rooms and good reviews, we made the best choice! Our room was perfect! The bed was sooo comfy, we had a wonderful little outside balcony to take in the lovely view and the shower and facilities in the room were great. Service when we arrived was amazing the staff are really friendly and accommodating, late check out was a lovely bonus, as is their facility to provide beach towels at no extra cost. We had breakfast twice at the hotel, it was ok for me but my husband who is vegetarian had a limited choice of food to choose from so we decided to eat out after. The other main facility the rooftop bar/swimming pool was nice. We never used the swimming pool and I was quite surprised at how small it was (I think the hotel might have been better off not having a pool and just having a roof top and sun lounging area) but the roof top area was always popular and enjoyable. It’s nice that priority is given to hotel guests too. If you don’t want to go to a nightclub but want a late night drink the rooftop is lovely. A nice little touch to an already lovely hotel. Would highly recommend this place.
GGuest UserEverything was nice, there were just couple of disappointing things:
1. That’s not so simple to get into. We had to call to the support 2 times. Pin for the appointment didn’t work. You may need Wi-Fi to check in before enter, use the appointments one.
2. There was a problem with internet connection. Only once but for the whole evening.
3. Cleaning came after 9 days only. So we were out of toilet paper and clean towels.
Most important point - we will stay here again when we return to Malaga if they have rooms available! Pleasant tourist hotel. The rating is relative to the hotel class and price - luxury hotels of course exist and are nicer but in my experiences in Europe, this is a 'best in class.' Nice spacious and clean rooms. Excellent and helpful staff and everyone had a high level of English so we could forego our poor Spanish. The staff helped us extend our reservation through a fully booked Saturday night AND found a way to keep us in the same rooms.
A comfortable modern hotel, spacious room, and the lift outside my room was the quietest one in all the hotels I have stayed at. Nice big shower, and powerful too. The room had a ceiling fan and AC. Breakfast is not in the hotel but it is a 4 minute walk away in their sister hotel. Breakfast buffet was lovely, with a coffee machine, juices, freshly baked croissants, palmiers, bread, muffins, baguette, meat, hard boiled egg, yogurt, fruit, scrambled egg, beans, frankfurters It is a 15-20 walk to the centre and 7 minutes walk to Málaga María Zambrano train station, which is where I got the train to the airport. The only thing that didnt work very well for me was the wifi, I kept losing connection, I had to stand by the door for better connection or use my phone's data.
GGuest UserOur first visit to Malaga and visited this hotel on a recommendation which proved to be justified. The hotel itself has rooms on the one floor and the room we had was at the end of a corridor overlooking a side street so very quiet. The room was very clean as was the bathroom which had a walk in shower that provided powerful warm water. Toiletries were also provided and continually replaced over the week. The bed was also large and comfortable. All in all excellent value for money. A large mini market is attached to the hotel and although we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel there was a cheap cafe across the road. For me the location was the icing on the cake as it was a short walk to the train platform and only 10 to 15 minutes walk to either the port or the old town. I would definitely stay here again should I return to Malaga
JJust OlyaThe hotel is located just 100dyers away from the airport but if you are with luggage, you will have to take a taxi that will cost you anywhere between 15 and 20 euro. If it’s Saturday evening you will pay 20. In fact, it’s the most expensive taxi in the world, as we paid 20 euro for a dive of 1000 meters, and that’s with official taxi ! Completely rip off so if you can, just avoid staying at the airport hotel.
Regarding this hotel, it’s of very poor quality. They claim that windows are sound proof but it’s not the case. The hotel is located between two very busy highways, so the noise is like you are siting on the side of a highway.
The beds are very uncomfortable and pillows are impossible to sleep, the management Shiism try to sleep on this pillow one night and treat a neck pain next morning.
The room is very hot and air is dry ( even if you try to control he temperature in the room ) it doesn’t se to work and you can not open the window for fresh air because of the enormous noise that comes from highway. So either bring the earplugs with you and ask the opposite side ( not facing the highway)
The only positive point: the rooms are quite spacious and the shower is ok too ( even though it just has a curtain instead of normal door you would expect in the shower)
Would not recommend staying there, and for the price of 20 euros for taxi you are better off staying at a better hotel closer to Malaga, with more comfort.
RRodriguezI really enjoyed my stay at malaga nostrum a
all staff was very friendly and gave great
service. I loved that there is restaurant on site and they have cook on breakfast time to prep anything a la carte.
As far as location it's near the big shopping center. So it's convenient.
Really enjoyed the vibe to this hostel. Staff were good and helpful, 2.50 breakfast was a bonus before going off for the day. The hostel is in a great destination, Bang in the city centre, it's great if you don't fancy going clubbing but like listening to music all night as your room is wedged between bars . All people seem friendly and down to earth even the stereotypical jesus look alike hostel dossers The rooms were spacious but it's like a knocking shop with the amount of people who come and go Your not allocated a bed you just get On one that is made up. The beds were comfy although when your on the top bunk the beds wobble and after a few jars 🍻 it's like your on a boat. The showers were a bit of a sh*t hole there was mould and no where to hang my clothes so they had to hang on the door knob to avoid going in the pool of water on the floor . Taps hanging off sinks, floor tiles missing, damp on roof but That's only a minor issue. Proper hostel, like the place and for the price I got it it was a bargain. Will return again. Great experience
EElisabeth1I read all the comments and I am a little scared ... The true Checkin theme is that I had to contact them to send me the welcome email to be able to register those we installed there. Once completed, you will be sent another email with the buttons that open the entrance door and room, all directly from the phone. There is a QR code that you are supposed to follow the steps by scanning only, I didn't have to use it because I could already access the email. If you don't get an email, ask you the welcome email. The room was okay, it's not a hotel, but I was already good for what I was looking for.. the perfect bathroom and the room also. We have sleeped well. I will contact them via the next email ***************, giving them a booking.
