The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .

Location: It's about 15mins walk from Jonker Street. Take Grab for about RM 5 to 7, depends on the timing. Located next to Mahkota Parade, where you can find quite a lot of shops and fast food available there too. If you're taking bus from Singapore, you can alight at this hotel. Service: The staff is friendly and helpful. Cleanliness: it's consider OK to be honest, just a little stain on the table. The lobby looks grand! Others: The TV programme has to be improved. Some of the channels are dark / mute. Room is spacious, and even have a small living room at the entrance.

This is a very new hotel which started their business in March 2023. Wanted to try on the first day of opening but due to some reason, it was delayed till now. It’s a first Marriott hotel in Melaka, so I do have very high expectations from them. As a Marriott platinum elite member, I’ve stayed in many hotel under Marriott organisation. Upon reaching the hotel with grab car, the staff came up to me immediately and lead me to the check in counter, the lobby are huge, and I can still smell that the hotel are still so new. Not much of the guest in the lobby area, it’s a Monday so I guess it’s normal. No suite room upgrade and no complimentary breakfast for a platinum member, although I was upgraded to a strait view room which I appreciated it. It can see a tiny bit of the sea. Apart from that, I guess the room size and amenity are the same. The check in staff told me that the suite room was full… I mean.. it’s a Monday.. and I literally still can see the suite room was available in the Bonvoy app. As I’ve mentioned, I’ve been to many hotel under Marriott organisation. I don’t always get upgraded to a suite room, but it was okay, I do understand all these are subjected to individual hotel policy and it’s all a good will. But I guess the staff could just tell me that the hotel are still new, the suite room are limited and it’s reserved for paying guest. I would totally understand that. But I don’t think it’s wise to you know, use a default replied as member like us, we check on the app. For me, if there’s no available suite room, I wouldn’t even ask for an upgrade. Secondly, there’s no complimentary breakfast, I paid RM70 for the 2 day breakfast. I’ve stayed in a few courtyard hotel, this was the first one that I’ve paid for breakfast, there might be other courtyard that don’t provide complimentary breakfast for guest with elite status, maybe I didn’t stay much enough to see it all. I’ve stayed with hotel that told me that their facility actually don’t offer complimentary breakfast for elite member, but they will just give it to me as a good will on top of my welcome gift. Just a little suggestion, like maybe let the counter staff to decide, if they could slip in some complimentary breakfast to guest with elite status or even guest that potentially come back again. I’m not complaining here, just some of my suggestions. The room are new, nice and spacious, very clean. Nice TV channel selection, view was great. Bed are firm to the level that I like, they offer pillow menu as well. Had very good sleep for the 2 night. Breakfast was very basic. There’s a very annoying flies flying around my table.. how did it come into the hotel, lol. Gym are small but there should be everything you need. The infinity pool are great! Very good view and very Instagrammable. Please visit the pool when you are here. The staff and friendly and nice. Would come back again to the hotel when I’m back in Melaka.

A true luxury small hotel. Very cozy. Room is clean. Love the tub. The welcome tea & sugee cake served in the room were nice. As for amenities, its average, could use a better quality of disposable toothbrush & provide slippers for going to the pool. Dining hall has good ambience, breakfast was good & service was personal. Dinner was above average. The pool was clean and dont feel too much clorine. The gym was a bit packed but ok to use when not many guests. There was an unpleasant smell at the dumb bells section, think its from the floor mat at that section. The little local biscuits & sweets at the lobby was a nice touch to let guest try the olden days snacks. The couple spa was fantastic👍🏻. The masseurs were pro.

Great experience with Rosa Malacca. From the entrance to the room until checkout. Mr Steve, the sarawak reception guy (i sempat tanya dia asal mana hehe) is damn friendly & soft spoken. Siap bagi choice i nak bilik view mana sama ada city atau courtyard view. Siap tanya baby i perlukan baby cot tak. I don’t request anything but he is really accommodating and good heart. We love his hospitality so much The 1st Hotel I checked in without Deposit! But they remind you not to cause damage in the room and no smoking gais. Clean room everything complete. The coffee house vibe is really beautiful with good music. The coffee house staff also friendly echah and aishah. Great hospitality and culture in here keep it up gais. Hi, we taught had booked a hotel room at Grandeur Hotel & Spa but end up with a shoplot rooms wt a different budget hotel under same management so called ”Avaria Hotel”. Its just a queen size bedroom provided not as booked room earlier, don't have lift only staircase to 2nd flr so get ready to carry your heavy luggage & pls purchase mineral botol since u have to walk downstairs to refill fr waterfilters provided, bedsheets looks quite old but ok clean... Just nice for a night stay, bathroom is ok wt hot shower filter, nearest food restaurants & a strategic place to city centre

Stayed at this hotel for two nights. The hotel has only been repaired for about2-3 months but some cracks have appeared in the room here. The bedroom is a lot of dust and the bed is uncomfortable. The TV has only 6 channels. You have to spend about 15-20 minutes to go to the shopping area of Haqi and Makhota. The parking lot is opposite the hotel and is open-air. Breakfast type is preferred, if this is not included in your room rate, I think you can not go. It takes about half an hour to walk to Jonker Street. The only comfort is that there are many restaurants nearby. Nearby casserole is open at night, offering delicious food and at a reasonable price.

I’ve booked 3 rooms. When i arrived i had to contact the host myself. Normally the host will contact us before checking in to ensure we could check into our rooms smoothly. The hotel should remark that we have to contact the host before checking in if they wont contact us first. Because we have to fill a form for each room so it takes so much time. I even have to wait for the host to set our room. We were supposed to check in by 3pm but there’s 1 room that we had to check in at 6pm. The host asked us to park at the mall’s parking which we have to pay ourselves if we did. After negotiating the host agreed to give us the parking card first but we had to wait in my sister’s room first. It has 5 lifts for both blocks but only 2 lifts can be used. Had to wait almost an hour to get ourselves inside the lift. Other than that, the water supply in block b was yellow. Would definitely not repeat to stay here again. But on the bright side, the rooms are spacious and clean. Suitable for families

Very satisfy stay when visit to Melaka with friend! Booked twin room without window, stay last floor with staircase, but blessing no dampness smell, room well cleaned (is very clean!) and sanitised by housekeeping. Toilet very clean, bed also comfy and clean, TV aircon and free WiFi all work well, also provided 2 bottle drinking water in room with kettle and mug/cup. Hotel no provide breakfast but bring along hotel room key to breakfast bar (Eggxtra) next door entitle 10% discount, with reasonable price. Along Hotel have some local eatery so no worry to fill tummy during night time. Take note all traveller, hotel reception is collect (accept cash only) MYR100 refundable deposit. We stayed at this hotel for 3 days and 2 nights this weekend and all I can say is it's really good! The staff here are very friendly and considerate (the duty manager Khairul even showed us around The villa area), the service was excellent, the rooms and the rest of the hotel were clean and well maintained (bathtubs in the common rooms), and the food (breakfast) was very good. The decor of the hotel is a mix of Malay wooden furniture and European. There is a small pool and a spa - we tried the spa and it was really nice. The hotel has a one way shuttle bus to Holland Street (Jonker Street) every two hours from 10am to 6pm. But since the hotel is not in the city center, it would be better if you have your own car (the car park is just behind the hotel and can park about 8-10 cars). The hotel is also very close to the Portuguese Settlement, about a 10 minute walk, but it's not a good walk at night. We all know that this hotel has been open for less than a year, and the building was previously used by the government. The hotel's current star rating will last until the end of the year, it really does feel like a bargain, especially for those looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city, it's not a great place to stay. But it's very close to those attractions. My heartfelt thanks to Kailu and his entire team for making our trip so memorable. keep it up!
