Idk why but the tax was so higher after i obeserve it . Masa first check in overall was okay except aircond tu kipas dia dah tak boleh nak bergerak so nasib masa tu my sibling naik kerusi adjust sikit dia punya sisik aircond tu.. aircond pon dah mcm nak uzur and second masa adik lelaki buka water heater then ttibe air memancut keluar dari tempat buka tu.. its was like mcm benda tu tak rapat and agak bahaya.. please take a note and make some improvement . Selalu check maintainance. And last mintak bantal lebih but then tak boleh the recepient said dah takde and dh bgi extra bantal pdahal bantal ckup2 untuk 3 katil

While the hotel itself is fairly basic (except for one very cool amenity which I'll mention), the location is what makes this place great. If you stay here, you'll be just outside the noise of the night market but within a very easy walk of all of the most important attractions in town. The rooms are pretty basic but they are clean. My room smelled like it had been smoked in which was annoying but I was so tired from my trip in that I didn't really make a stink about it. Otherwise, the room was cool (A/C), clean and comfortable. The shower head was wonky. The ”rain shower” didn't really work. It just sort of pulsated from the middle of the shower head. But, there was plenty of hot water. Now the cool amenity. There are filtered water sources in each room. This is so much more efficient than providing daily water bottles. There is no breakfast offered which at first was annoying but then there are so many great places to get food (CHEAP) right by the hotel that a hotel breakfast would have been a wasted opportunity to try some other local food. Oh, and while there is free internet, it was actually quite weak. It was not strong enough to complete a WhatsApp call.

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.

I like the room because it’s newly renovated in 2023. The room is like 4.5 stars hotel but other than that the lift, the dining hall and everything still very very old. But the price is so reasonable is you book through Trips because we requested for early check in and I booked through trips one night only RM83, but when I paid in hotel in hotel rate is RM176, then half day price for the early check in is RM86. I was in shocked but we were tired from the trip and want to have an early rest so we decided to pay for it. Not a very good soundproof room. For price consideration book through Trips.com is the best!! I love Trips.com.

This is a funny hotel, there is a sign show that cannot smoking in room but that is full of smoking smell when I enter my room ,for 4 nights the smell still strong. They didn't change bed sheet at all as I found a bits of food (some vegetables with sauce) on the bedsheets that cover by the bed runner. I request to change to new room but they just allow to change bedsheets for, me. OK it's fine, the hot water in bathroom will auto turn to cold water after shower for 5 mins and have to wait for 10 mins for the hot water back. I have to take half an hour just for shower. The hair dryer was the same, it cannot be function after use just for 1 min!!!! The receptionist told me that it will auto turn off when it is too hot, halo? I stay a lot of hotel but I never get a hair dryer that will auto turn off after 1 min!!!! If 10mins still acceptable !!! Won't visit this hotel again, ady get my very unforgettable experience!

Good facility by moty hotel..1st time myfamily this hotel. Small hotel but very recommend place must repeat again. Very clean, good, nice, and frenly staff. My son said very good hotel in melaka and give 10 star . Just walking to bandar hilir.. near hotel many restaurants and shop.. Must booking and stay again. We had stayed in Hatten hotel a few years for the first time and liked it very much. So for our second visit it is a natural choice for us again. The staff was friendly and the household service was prompt in sending extra towels at night. We had used the swimming pool this time unlike our previous visit. It was clean and looked well maintained. Its location was excellent as it is next to two malls. Jonker walk is about 20 minutes away by foot. The only disappointment we had was the quality of the breakfast and Ramadan dinner. There is a wide selection of food items but it was quantity over quality.

The hotel was much bigger than we had anticipated. It is a really beautiful place, hidden away in the nice city of Melaka. The lobby is beautifully designed, but freezing and the whole hotel seemed drenched in some kind of perfume, which made me a bit dizzy. Our room had the weirdest smell- but I think it was intentional...as though they had made it smell like that on purpose...like mouldy hay. The room was really pretty and the little patio is a nice touch. We informed the desk that we's be checking out at 12:50. but still, the same concierge called us at 12:00, waiting impatiently for us to check out. We were also hardly ever greeted upon entering the hotel. Weird. Once everything is done, I'm sure it will be a nice place. I wish the plants were real. They are all plastic and it shows, unfortunately. The location is perfect, just around the corner from China Town and Junkers Walk. I think it's a decent place to stay for a night or two.

This is my fifth trip to Melaka, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. As usual, I decided to stay near Jonker Street, the Chinatown of Melaka. This time, I had chosen Quayside Hotel as I wanted to experience a stay near the river. Upon alighting at Melaka Sentral Bus Station, I took Panorama Bus No. 17 at its Domestic Bus Terminal. It costs RM2 per person. The journey took about 20mins and I alighted outside Stadhuys, which is a short 5mins walk to Quayside Hotel. I had booked a Premier Queen Room for a two nights stay and was accommodated in Room No. 204. The room has a balcony which offers a view of the Melaka River. During the morning, it is relaxing to sit at the balcony and enjoy the tranquilness of the river and its surroundings. By night, the riverside is good for crowd-watching. It can get lively and a little noisy as it is just a stone’s throw away from the Melaka River Cruise Jetty. The room measures 21 square metres and Is comfortable for two guests. On the other hand, the bathroom is a little small whereby there is no partition separating the shower area and the wash basin. Hence, the bathroom floor gets wet each time after a shower. Even after switching on the water heater switch, the shower is lukewarm. The hotel provides the basic room amenities such as dental kit, shower gel, shampoo, shower cap, hand soap, hair dryer, electric kettle, mini fridge, coffee, tea and drinking water. There is no electronic safe. I had no major issues with the Wi-Fi network during my stay here, though it is a little weak at the balcony area. TV entertainment is limited to selective cable channels such as CNBC, Cinemax & Boomerang (Cartoon network). The room has poor sound insulation. Kids running and the dragging of chair in the neighbouring room can cause some disturbance. So it depends entirely on who your neighbours are. However, I understand that this hotel is housed at the site of an old customs warehouse. As the hotel is of an industrial warehouse theme, the design and build of the rooms do not offer good soundproof walls. This hotel has been operating since 2013 and I believed there has been no major refurbishment. The room condition needs to be better maintained and I would recommend the management to consider renovating the property. Whilst the room is not perfect, the stay experience was elevated by the friendly Front Desk Staff. The Housekeeping Staff also cleaned the room well. My room comes with hotel breakfast service. It is located on the ground floor and starts from 8.30am to 10.30am. I am pleasantly surprised at its offerings which although simple, is rather delicious. The menu comprises of rice (Nasi lemak or fried rice), noodles or bee hoon, eggs, hotdogs, curry puffs, cakes and hot beverages like coffee and tea. Other than the breakfast area, there are no facilities in this hotel. The main advantage of staying at Quayside Hotel is its prime location.
