Almost everything okay, because the size of the room is quite spacious and the view is beautiful, you can see the beach. what I like the most is because the iron is provided close to the room so there is no need to leave the room to iron clothes.a strategic place because there are many viral shops nearby.

Where do I begin with this hotel…?! Booked for 3 nights via Expedia because the hotel’s reservation page kept declining my credit card but still charging it - will sort this out later. Check-in: was told I had to pay a RM50 deposit in cash when I checked in. My hotel was prepaid online but I have no issue with the deposit, except they wouldn’t take credit cards for the deposit as they apparently cannot issue deposit refunds via credit card. I guess they haven’t learned about placing authorizations on cards and reversing the charges. They have Touch n’Go e-wallet stickers at reception but also wouldn’t allow me to pay the deposit via TnG. Fortunately I had some cash on me or I would have had to go find an ATM to withdraw money. Arguing with the receptionist is pointless since they’re merely enforcing stupid and nonsensical policies by management. Room: basic but acceptable. The remote controls for the air conditioning and tv were given at check-in. I guess the management is highly suspicious of guests and will not leave them in the room. Hot water in the shower was lukewarm at best and water pressure so-so. TV channels have zero channels in English. Guess English-speakers aren’t their intended clientele. Housekeeping does not automatically make up rooms. I was out the whole day and when I came back around 645pm, realised that the room was not made up. By then I had decided to move hotels and forego remaining 2 nights after the first night. At checkout when I told the receptionist about the unmade room, I was told that I had to call housekeeping to clean the room. What kind of half-baked, cheapskate dump has such a ridiculous policy!? I was told that apparently some guests don’t allow housekeeping in and so they just decided to not clean until asked. Amazingly every other respectable hotel in the world has a better solution to this - come back later!! Funnily this ridiculous policy is also not communicated at check-in. I didn’t expect an offer of refund for checking out early. Any hotel whose management is such a skinflint that they wouldn’t even provide daily housekeeping or keep the remotes in the room can hardly be expected to engage in customer service. Oh as a bonus, I saw an ironing board in the corridor. They wouldn’t provide ironing boards in the room of course. The pictures say more than I can. Verdict: never coming back here again if I can help it. Overpriced and does not deserve 3 star rating.

Spacious room & cozy. Have balcony can see city view malacca. Nice design swimming pool & garden. Get access gym view pool. Breakfast super nice & variety (Malaysia, Chinese, Indian & Western Food). Walking distance Kampung Morten. Definitely will come again.

They are not lying when they said unlimited breakfast buffet from 7am till 12pm. This is the most great thing about this hotel. Their view is beautiful. Like others mentioned, we can see melaka river cruise at night from the balcony. Other than that, facilities in children a bit wear out already. However we did enjoy the pool because it’s quite big. The adult pool have infinity view but slightly poor in cleanliness.

The room is agent unit from Pines hotel. Parking is charged per day (opposite the hotel) rm3 on weekend and public holiday Self check in as guest will be given instructions prior to stay date The room is nice at the highest floor and I am very happy with the room. However, there are some complain on the air con. It can be controlled and quite cold, even the temp has been set to 30 degree. The fan speed was like maximum blow even I set to the lowest bar Quite annoying also on the Aircon sound, unable to sleep soundly Hope the owner can look into this

Regular guest at this hotel due to its close location to The Shore Mall and eateries, especially at Kg Morten. Melaka River Waterfront is just across the road. Room is a bit dated but comfortable enough and spacious. The central air conditioning is a bit too cold though. Staff is also friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I had a good time here but here is the drawback, the room needs serious make over, everything looks dated and I think it’s time to renovate the room. The food was okay, I expected more but it was okay 👍 Good part, the service here is brilliant, everyone was nice except the akak at buffet, yes I know we leaved the buffet area later than the allowed time but cmon, don’t be rude. I’ll gladly leave anyways

Terrible pillow cleanliness as photo attached. Smelly & very dirty pillow. Yellow spot ( which im very sure is air liur basi stain) every where. We asked to changed 3 pillows then they give new pillow with the same stain. 2 nd time asked to change pillow again & they gave us new pillows. This time no stains. Thanks to the housekeeping guy for helping us.

The property is shared with hotels and other property owners in one same building. Perfect Host was the owner of the property that we are staying with. It works like a serviced apartment except there is no lobby and proper check in. The staff will text you prior to your arrival to arrange to meet at the security counter at a very specific timing where he will appear to hand you the key card for check in. So must take note. The property is just about 5mins walk to Hatten Hotel, which is then connected to the other malls so rather convenient. Just infront of the property is also one of the major pick up location for buses that goes to other parts of Malaysia or Singapore. The rooms is clean and proper, just that it can be seen that the property is a little dated but otherwise still comfortable. Comes with a kitchenette and also swimming pool to use. Highly recommend this property to stay, with prices so affordable it is definitely on my top list. The only downside is there is no Wi-Fi provided. Otherwise, just below the property, there is also plenty of food choices so don't worry about getting hungry!

The front desk staff are friendly and welcoming when we were check in with a complimentary cookies, when we got into the room we realised that the fridge wasn't working, we let housekeeping and they immediately changed a new fridge for us. the room was nice and spacious the lights are working fine however the sofa a a little old ed stained.the body foam that they provide probably only can last a day and you are need to ask the housekeeping refill it if staying more then a day . the breakfast is great although we could get a clean table and had to ask the waiter to clean the table for us before we could go and get the food. overall we love the bed the soft pillow and it was a good stay .
