"Positive side: There's electric jug provided, even though no tea/coffee sachet there. TV functions well. Three mirrors including one in the bathroom. There's a wardrobe but not enough space to hang the towels. Got air conditioner n fan. Negative side: The room was quite small for triple. The double and single bed were combined together😔. The toilet was dirty especially the toilet bowl, there were stains everywhere ☹️. Only two lamps in the room without bed lamp, one switch for them. No lift... Luckily our room is only on the second floor."

"Hotel facilited with fridge, tv, aircon abit slow bt works awhile to cool, but good after awhile. Instant kopi, green tea bags, mineral water & toothpaste/brush, general soaps provided. Hotel is a few steps frm lobby to a kerabat coffeeshop- anytime for kopi ikat tepi, & surrounding are great bazaars at the front pitched at evening, left is pahlawan bazaar of ur nice dodol, keropoks, chincaloks shopping & malls & shopping ctr front & safari themed Karaoke at hotel’s right area. Dnt forget Menara taming sari just across hotel abt 50m to experience. All is so convenient & accessible & Bus coach at escadia hotel was also a 10mins less walk. Definitely needs a good walking shoes, walk all day/night frm jonker street bazaar to melaka river cruise & historics sites. Thank u Hotel Explorer, our Melacca stay with you was a nice one"

"Located in Jonker Street. No guest parking provided. Beautiful hotel with heritage concept. Very friendly and helpful front desk and cafe staffs. Got rare elevator Clean and beautiful but quite small room. Room got mini fridge, iron, hairdryer also arristo coffee machine. Complete ! Clean and best power shower. Plus, they provide free ala carte breakfast for their guest. Happy for it ! For entertainment, maybe they can add more tv channels with good signal as all channels were not really clear to watch."

"Very good stay. Excellent location. Booked a twin room. Both beds are Super single. Housekeeping staff are very hardworking and friendly. Reception and reservations staff are friendly. Sent email to reservation for enquiry and they responded within hours. Very good. Shopping malls (Mahkota Parade and Dataran Pahlawan Mall) are just next door. Jonker Street 10 mins walk. Many shopping, eateries and massage shops nearby. Highly recommended. One of the best hotels in Malacca."

"I was getting ready to go to bed when I noticed the air conditioner in the room was literally leaking, not even dripping. Technician came to check up after a complaint was made to the receptionist. The technician asked if I was willing to change room as it would take quite a while to fix the leaking issue. As it was, I moved room from level 27 to level 21 in bathrobe and hotel slippers together with all my stuff. There was only a nice chap from the hotel reception that came to assist with moving of my belongings. All these happened at 23:06 (11:06pm). Just a horrible experience to go through. However, breakfast buffet spread was very good and the staff are generally very approachable and helpful except the lady who was manning the reception that night (night of 8/4/2025) who just seemed very impatient over the phone. That being said, they moved me to a bigger room that night. The photos shown here are referring to the room that suffered the air conditioner leaking issue. I give them poor rating for the amenities based on the lack of servicing of the air conditioning unit in the room."

"The Superior Twin Room is just like a little studio apartment, spacious and comfy with super low price! There is 2 air-con and 1 fan in the room, truly amazing! ▶Cleanliness could have been better, 4/5 ▶Basement parking provided. Downside: My room facing main road, so it was quite noisy(the sound of motorcycle speeding by) in the night."

"Hi, we taught had booked a hotel room at Grandeur Hotel & Spa but end up with a shoplot rooms wt a different budget hotel under same management so called ”Avaria Hotel”. Its just a queen size bedroom provided not as booked room earlier, don't have lift only staircase to 2nd flr so get ready to carry your heavy luggage & pls purchase mineral botol since u have to walk downstairs to refill fr waterfilters provided, bedsheets looks quite old but ok clean... Just nice for a night stay, bathroom is ok wt hot shower filter, nearest food restaurants & a strategic place to city centre"
