"Positive side: There's electric jug provided, even though no tea/coffee sachet there. TV functions well. Three mirrors including one in the bathroom. There's a wardrobe but not enough space to hang the towels. Got air conditioner n fan. Negative side: The room was quite small for triple. The double and single bed were combined together😔. The toilet was dirty especially the toilet bowl, there were stains everywhere ☹️. Only two lamps in the room without bed lamp, one switch for them. No lift... Luckily our room is only on the second floor."

"There are many food stores, convenience stores, banks and Magnum downstairs nearby. The service staff at the counter are very good and worth recommending. The only thing that is very simple is that the room door lock still uses a key. Everything else is generally cost-effective."

"Generally the hotel is located at good location in Melaka. Easy access to Jonker Street and surrounding attractions. However, the room type options is misleading. The standard room gave options of King Bed or 2 Single Beds. Upon checkin, I was told my booking is 2 Single Beds. So they combined the bed to get a King Bed. It will be better to state clearly before booking on the options. The room facing to the Melacca Strait is very noisy at night as there is a night club (Arena Night Club) opposite. They are operating till 2am-3am. Basically we are not getting good rest at night. Brought this to the reception but seems nothing can be done."

"I stayed at Hatten Hotel Melaka and really enjoyed the central location. The hotel is connected to Dataran Pahlawan Mall, making it super convenient for shopping and food. Rooms are spacious with nice city views, and the facilities like the pool and gym are a plus. Service is generally friendly, though it can get busy during peak hours. What I liked most is that many attractions are within walking distance A Famosa (Porta de Santiago) is just about a 10 minute walk from the hotel to, Melaka Hill and the Sultan Palace Museum. Perfect for exploring Melaka’s history without needing transport. Overall, a comfortable stay with a great location if you want both convenience and easy access to heritage sites."

"I had a great stay at DoubleTree by Hilton Melaka. From the warm signature cookie at check-in to the friendly service throughout, the experience felt welcoming and professional. The room was clean, modern, and spacious, with a comfortable bed and a nice view of the city. The bathroom was well-designed, and I appreciated the quality amenities provided. The hotel is slightly away from Jonker Street, but it’s directly connected to Elements Mall, which made dining and shopping convenient. Overall, a comfortable and relaxing stay with good value for money. I’d definitely consider coming back for my next trip to Melaka."

"Pleasant Stay at Baba Hotel Malacca (Level 2 Room) This wasn’t my first time staying at Baba Hotel Malacca, and overall, it was another pleasant experience. We were assigned a room on Level 2. The room size was decent for two people, with a comfortable bed that provided a good night’s rest. There was no weird smell in the room, and the towels were fresh and pleasantly fragrant, which I really appreciated. The bathroom had strong water pressure and no drainage issues, which is often overlooked but makes a difference. However, the basin water flow was a bit slow, and I feel the bathroom could benefit from a proper ventilation fan. Also, cleanliness between the tiles could be improved for a better overall feel. One noticeable improvement during this visit was the internet speed, which was better than before—perhaps due to a different room location within the hotel. That said, noise insulation could still be improved, as sounds from the corridor or neighboring rooms were occasionally audible. A special mention to the FOM/DM, who was very friendly and attentive—really made us feel welcome. The same goes for the other staff members, who were equally warm and helpful throughout our stay. All in all, it’s a comfortable and convenient place to stay in Malacca, and I wouldn’t hesitate to come back again."

"The hotel is just taken over by OYO, and the price is super low budget now, I think the price will be up soon. My room is Deluxe Twin, the design is simple but tidy, spacious and comfortable. The room has 2 TVs and air-conditions. ▶Free basement parking provided. ▶ Water dispenser available."

"Hi, we taught had booked a hotel room at Grandeur Hotel & Spa but end up with a shoplot rooms wt a different budget hotel under same management so called ”Avaria Hotel”. Its just a queen size bedroom provided not as booked room earlier, don't have lift only staircase to 2nd flr so get ready to carry your heavy luggage & pls purchase mineral botol since u have to walk downstairs to refill fr waterfilters provided, bedsheets looks quite old but ok clean... Just nice for a night stay, bathroom is ok wt hot shower filter, nearest food restaurants & a strategic place to city centre"
