Cleanliness, location, service is good. The only thing to concern is because it's an old building with much history, thus the piping system might be old. It happens to have no water during the halfway of my bath which causes inconvenience to me, and I need to wait for 15 mins until the water system is recovered.

Strategic location that is very close to museums, the stadthuys, and is beside malacca river. The room is cleaner than expected, and had a comfortable stay. Very satisfied for the price I paid for. The Bunga Raya Fried Oyster is a must try which is about 6-8 mjnutes walk from the stay.

Only location is good other then location nothing good , room at 3 rd floor without any lift ,wifi is there but no internet no use ,bathroom is also not good .

This place is located at the very best spot in Malacca!!!
Right next to the river near st. Frances Xaver church, some of the best Cafés and Restaurants are right next door. Go to baba Kaya early in the morning for tea and toast next to the river or ban kengh for most amazing scrambled eggs and cappuccino, have lunch at Patma's for the very best roti and lassies and the nicest people and go for the night market or the Indian restaurant around the corner for night snack.....
The house is old and charming, with a lot of antique interiors. The room was clean, the aircon worked fine as well as the hot water. Had the room on the second floor with a balcony to the street. Check in and out is around the corner, working without any problems!

It's a hostel for backpackers. Stay for 1 night only. Water flow is terrible. Shampooed my hair and suddenly completely no water. Had to wait for 5-10 mins before water came back on. Water heater is not usable had to use the water pipe on the floor to finish my washing. Aside from the advantage of the location, the place is quite run down. Bed creaks with every turn.

Great find - we were met by the Spanish worker when our cab pulled up and made to feel very welcome. The room was great, especially for the price. It had a separate enclosed shower to keep the floor dry elsewhere, which was super powerful and hot. There was a fridge and kettle in the room. The beds were really comfy. Location was close to everything you need - the river, walking street, fort, clock tower and everything else. Would definitely stay here again if visiting Melaka. Great bakeries and coffee shops nearby. Photographs are of the surrounding area within a few minutes walk.

the room on the 2 or 3 floor is really good. The room is very big and the bathroom as well. There a two superb things about the room: 1) the balcony 2) the location. There is a fridge, kattle, tea and coffee in the room. The desk is especially good if you like to write. Furthermore I like the lightning there, the light is nice and cozy. The Hotel has a really nice atmosphere, with an outside are for drinks and food.
You can get water, beer and a shuttle service for some extra costs. Unfortunately, the cleanes could be better. The sheets weren't very clean and the balcony was dirty. The TV wasn't working properly and there was no Wi-Fi in the room.
If you speak Mandarin you have definitely some advantages because the Hotel is Chinese-Malay ownd.
Overall I definitely recommend this place, because the location is so good and the room and balcony is so big. You can easily stay there a few days.
The staff is so friendly as well, you can sit with them having a talk or just enjoy the time.
