The best hotel on my visit to Malacca. Definitely I will stay in Style Hotel Malacca for my next visit to Malacca.

No frills hotel accommodation Pros: - Located at the entrance of Jonker Street, and walking distance to the center of the historical city ... the main advantage - food outlets are as close as next door, Hard Rock Melaka is just around the corner - clean room and bathroom - access into the premise, to the specific floor and to the room by card only - filtered water (hot and cold) is provided at the ground floor - good soundproofing between rooms and corridor - basic amenities are provided, others can be requested - brief check-in and check:out process Cons - no parking is a major disadvantage given if you are traveling with young children or senior citizen. Also it is not easy to find public carparks in this part of the town - fridge available but takes forever to chill - noises from the Jonker and loud music from trishaws can be heard ... but not so much of a cons if considering choosing the location for the lively atmosphere. There's always a middle room with no window if one prefers a quiet room

We chose this hotel mainly for the location. It's Right at the entrance of jonker street. You can maximise your time looking around then walk to the hotel.. Rest for a while and roam around again. The family room has no window. We were told by the receptionist that all family room has no window. Since it's a fully enclosed room without a window...the room has that old enclosed smell.. And my allergies got triggered by the indoor dust as each time im in the room i keep coughing.. While outside I'm not coughing so much. The towel has that old smell and i wonder if it has been washed a long time and kept in the cabinet for long. Same with the pillows. It's not bad smell but that smell that it has been kept for a long time. The toilet seat is old. The bidet is broken. At 11:10am we were at the reception.. We wanted to take rivercruise which is about 45 mins long.. The late check out they only allowed till 30 mins more from 12pm so the check out is 12:30pm..to be sure i asked if they can extend another 30 mins so 1pm.. Just so we have time to take cruise and go back to check out. Lady said no. Then we asked if we can check out now and leave our things behind the counter for about 1 hour. Lady said they don't do that. Asked us to leave our luggages at the open common area with a note that if it's lost then they are not responsible. So they won't extend us for 30 mins and also won't look after our luggages. Basically they have done nothing for us.. We just wanted to take the 45 mins river cruise. So we left our bag in the common area with the risk. So basically don't expect much from hotel. Just stay there for the location itself. That's the only reason. If i return to melaka.. I will skip styles hotel.. I will try my luck on the other hotels nearby.

The hotel is just beside the Jonker Street, it’s very convenience after the night market walk. However, it’s hard to Grab a car in the morning before 7am. So try not to book the bus to KL too early. The staff is friendly and helpful, always there to offer help.

Staff is friendly & helpful. Room was clean. Hotel location is convenience. My family enjoy staying there. Will return again.

I stayed in there only one night but there are so many ants inside the room. I complained to the lady who looks like the owner. But she only apologized me.

Overall is good, just that the hotel is abit noisy at night during the weekend, other than that, everything is good and perfect

This is my second time back at this hotel. The first time was more than 5 years ago. I will definitely return here again cause of the location; it is on Jonker Walk and superbly convenient to get around in this area. The only problem is if you drive, you will need to walk at least 5 mins from the parking lots nearby. And if you are lucky to get the public roadside parking spots, will definitely be cheaper to pay than the privately owned lots.

It’s right in front of Jonker Street. Plenty of eateries around. Walk a little further down, prices will be much cheaper. Took Grab from Sentral Melaka, only 8 ringgits.

Very strategic location only 200mtr to jongker walk, river cruise, hard rock cafe & facing gravy baby restaurant. Overall worth it paying for budget hotel.

I like the fact that there is a free water dispenser that cater for both hot and cold water. However, the hotel stuff doesnt do housekeeping which is quite a downside. Do note that no amenities will be cater, guests will need to buy or bring their own toilet amenities

The location is very good. The hotel is also good. But I booked two rooms directly. The staff knew that I had 3 children and gave me two opposite rooms. When I went upstairs, I found that one of the rooms had a small door leading to the next room. The staff should have asked me if I wanted it. It happened that when I came down, the staff had given the next room to someone else. If he had asked me, I would have insisted on sharing it. It is a family room. The staff of other ethnic groups are not very friendly. Everything else is acceptable. It would be perfect if the room was a little cleaner.

It's a small hotel. Cute decoration, very good location, easy to find things to eat, close to the night market and other tourist attractions. The room is quite small. But I slept very comfortably. But the refrigerator isn't cool at all.

The room requires a card to have electricity, so there is no air conditioning when you enter the room. The air conditioning is barely enough at night. The location is excellent, but because it is close to the street, you can hear the sounds of cars on the street at night I didn't eat in the room, but when I came back the next morning after going out, I found a lot of ants on the bed (I checked when I checked in, but there were no ants).
