We had a great family stay at this hotel in Melaka. The location is perfect, just a 5-minute walk to the Red House and Jonker Street. The hotel has beautiful Nyonya-inspired décor with modern touches. We loved the welcome drink and free canvas bag, and the option to customize it with stickers was fun. There are also VR games and a claw machine for entertainment.
Our Superior Family Room was clean and spacious with two large beds. The projector TV and automatic curtains were the kids’ favorite features. Bathroom amenities and a hairdryer were provided.
The only downsides were a short flight of stairs leading to our room, which made carrying luggage slightly inconvenient. The free parking lot is about a 5–8 minute walk away, so it’s better to drop off luggage at the entrance first.
Overall, friendly staff, great location, and a stylish, comfortable environment. A very enjoyable stay, will recommended for families!

It was a nice stay, spacious comfy. The only cons is that we could hear next door clearly, and when the kids were playing with slides early in the morning whilst we were sleeping

Overall good.
New, clean, location ideal if you like to explore around Jonker at night.
Feedbacks:
1. Soundproof problem - staff should not do any drill work after 11pm pls.
2. Should improve carpark options or value added services to manage drop off flows. Especially the heavy rain period.
3. Be flexible and adjust the early check in policy even if the room is not ready. Should proceed with the relevant check-in process and usage of hotel amenities or activities prior to check-in. A welcome drink should be served earlier. It's so awkward when we wait for the lobby without any drinks and was serverd after check-in completed.
4. Toilet and room divider - should have some curtains or blind between the toilet and bedroom.

Refreshing rose beverage to welcome us upon arrival. Check in was fast and staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Room was clean, bed and pillow was super comfy. Location was great.

Very beautiful hotel. Well refurbished & welcoming. We rested well. Though no outdoor view but the projector in the room & the decor set a very classy feel. Only setback is the car park area about 8 mins walking distance and cafe not ready. Otherwise it will be just so perfect. I will highly recommend if you dont drive.

I stayed in Oct 2025 and had the pleasure of staying at Rest Collection Melaka, and I can't recommend it highly enough! From the moment we arrived, the staff was incredibly helpful, going above and beyond to guide us to our room and ensure we had everything we needed. Their friendly demeanor made us feel instantly welcome.
The room itself meet with our expectations, spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. It provided the perfect retreat after a day of exploring the city.
What truly stood out was how much my kids loved the hotel. They enjoyed every moment, from the comfortable accommodations to the family-friendly atmosphere.
Overall, our experience at Rest Collection Melaka was fantastic. If you're looking for a place that combines great service with a welcoming environment, this is the spot!
