The front desk staff , Mira is so helpful and informative. Location wise , not within walking distance for me to Jongker street so we took Grab to Jongker street to avoid the traffic jam at Jongker & parking hassle. Otherwise are all good ! Next to 7 11 and pharmacy. You can get your medical supplies / ointments , body care necessities easily. Plenty of parking. Easily can find food & beverage nearby. Convenient & clean ! Definitely will repeat to stay here.

A viable option for those seeking short getaway.
No issue with check in/ out. Served by pleasant hotel staffs. Area is quiet & cafes availability. 7-11 next door for quick night snacks.
Roomwise no complaint. Consider stay of choice.

Nice and comfortable 2 stars hotel in Melaka city centre. The hotel is clean and offer basic toiletries. The room in the picture was Room 308 and it comes with tatami style of bed. There are few designated hotel parking bays and ample street parking bays available. There are many eateries around the hotel including a 7-11 right next door. Overall a wonderful short stay and budget friendly hotel.

I recently spent one night at the Asiatic Hotel in Malacca and overall, it was a pleasant experience. The hotel is conveniently located within short driving distance of key attractions like Jonker Street, A Famosa, and the Stadthuys, making it a good base for sightseeing.
The check-in process was smooth, and the front desk staff were friendly and efficient. The room itself was clean, modern, and well-maintained. I appreciated the comfortable bed and the basic amenities provided, including complimentary bottled water, toiletries, and a kettle for making tea or coffee. The Wi-Fi was reliable and fast enough for streaming and work.
While the hotel doesn’t have an in-house restaurant, there are several eateries and cafes nearby, and the staff was happy to give recommendations. Parking was easy and free, which is a big plus in Malacca.
If I had to mention a downside, the soundproofing could be better — I could occasionally hear hallway noise and other guests. But for a short stay, it wasn’t a major issue.
Overall, the Asiatic Hotel offers good value for money and is a solid choice for travelers looking for a comfortable, no-fuss stay in Malacca.

Have been staying here for bout 4 years. Clean rooms and toilets limited amenities, great location: lots of eateries and convenient stores nearby. Overall a great place
