Raffles Makkah Palace

EXCELLENT

Very clean hotel, close to Haram, plenty of food options in clock tower

The raffles hotel in other locations is of a much higher standard. The suite that we were staying in Makkah was tired and needs refurbished. The bathroom tiles, flooring and shower need to refurbished and need replaced. Walls could do with freshening up as they are marked in many places. Better dusting could be done around the suite- dust was on the skirting boards, lamps etc. The curtains were as though they have never been washed and are stained/marked. We reported issue with the noise of the bathroom fan in the toilet area, however this was not addressed. For the high price we paid we expect the suite to be in a much better condition. My husband and I were annoyed that the suite did not live up to the raffles in other countries we visited.

Best hotel in Makkah

Overall experience was excellent, love the cleanliness and hospitality of the staff, especially Hanuf were very lovely. Rooms were spacious but not having wall clock was negative point otherwise definitely recommend to anyone who wants to visit haram with ease and convenience .

Great food, breakfast and dinner and love the proximity to Kaaba so you can pray all prayers The buffet is amazing and love the dessert options too Housekeeping is great as well, Rashid Saneen and Zuhairal are super friendly and can hold a great conversation.

A memorable trip by all means, we enjoyed our time a lot, the hotel is so luxurious, and the staff is extremely dedicated and keen to make your trip comfortable and enjoyable. Location of hotel is great, few minutes and you will find yourself in haram, easy access to elevators. Must try their restaurant overlooking the Haram.

I am absolutely amazed by the personal service that was given to us by your excellent team members and the hotel lived up to it’s 5 star rating. I would like to compliment every single member of your team, from the concierge to your cleaning staff. My personal compliments to Ayub and Waseem to were very attentive at all times and they are both a great asset to the Raffles Brand in Makkah. They made us feel like home every hour of the day and they need to be recognised for the exceptional quality of customer service shown to VIP guests like us. The waiters at breakfast and evening meal also need to be complimented for the due care and attention shown in bringing our meals to us and the food was at a high standard. I will definitely return to your hotel next year.
