Prime Location: The property is frequently praised for its proximity to key religious sites, particularly Masjid al-Haram. Many guests appreciated the easy access to prayer areas, lifts, and nearby shopping and dining options.(based on 2 reviews)

Location is perrrrrfect!!! Right at the entrance of the door that leads to mataf. Or the ramp that goes up to 2nd floor at haram for families with pram. There are lots of lifts too serving the hotel guests making it easy to go down during peak period. The hotel musolla also comes in handy esp when haram is full to accept last min Jemaah. The musolla offers an easy option to pray in congregation with the haram imam without needing to be directly in haram. Would return here inshaAllah!

Had some trouble checking in, because the employees in the lobby couldn't speak English. But ************* after calling trip.com and waiting for 30 minutes, I managed to check in😭 Hopefully this won't happen again on trip.com

Hotel deserves one star. Only good thing is location and staff. Everything else is bad. Old un renewed rooms, food for suhoor became worse from last year. Last year there was lots of food now the quality and quantity has decreased. Food is cheap and not good.

The Absolute Worst "5-Star" Hotel Near the Haram – Avoid at All Costs I urge you, with every ounce of sincerity, to heed this advice: do not stay at Al Safwa Towers unless you are left with no other option on the planet. If you have an alternative, even slightly farther from the Haram (like the Clock Tower hotels), book it immediately. This establishment is not just an insult to the concept of luxury; it is a disgrace to hospitality itself. Reception Staff – The Epitome of Incompetence and Arrogance The reception staff at this hotel could teach a masterclass in being rude, smug, and utterly devoid of customer service skills. Their arrogance is nauseating, and they seem to revel in their condescension. Upon our arrival at 7 AM after a grueling 24-hour journey, we politely requested early access to just one of the four rooms we had booked. What followed was a shocking display of greed and callousness. They demanded an additional 300 SAR to access a room that was already ready. Imagine this: a family of nine, including two elderly individuals and a baby, exhausted and desperate for rest, yet they refused us entry without payment. No decency, no empathy—just a blatant attempt to extort money. Most respectable five-star hotels would offer early check-in as a courtesy. Not here. Rooms Straight Out of a Time Capsule The so-called "five-star" rooms were a complete joke. Outdated decor, malfunctioning appliances, and an overall lack of care were the norm. The fridge in our room leaked water throughout our entire stay. In another room, the electricity went out completely. To top it off, a room nearby hosted a ruqyah session at midnight, disrupting any chance of rest. Even while writing this, I am astounded by the sheer number of issues we encountered. A Marketplace Circus Below The hotel sits above an overcrowded, chaotic market that makes leaving the building an ordeal. Every trip outside turned into a gauntlet of nagging vendors vying for attention. It was such a relief to escape to the Clock Tower, which felt like a sanctuary compared to this hotel. Customer Service Horror Stories The so-called "service" at this hotel is beyond abysmal—it is non-existent. They refused to heat up baby food, outright denied my request to speak with a manager, and refused to help when our baby suffered a hot liquid burn. When I confronted the staff about their complete disregard for guest satisfaction, they smirked and shrugged as if to say, "We don’t need your approval." This level of indifference is unforgivable and left me feeling furious and helpless. A Final Plea If this review spares even one person from the nightmare that is Al Safwa Towers, it will have been worth my time to write. I want to emphasize that while our Umrah experience was beautiful and fulfilling, this hotel was the single sour note in an otherwise incredible journey. Do yourself a favor and stay literally anywhere else. Al Safwa Towers is a stain on the holy city of Makkah and an embarra
