Makarem Umm Al Qura Hotel

Hotel states it is 5*. It isn’t. Room very basic but clean. Bathroom again very basic, very dated and old, not as clean as the room. Lobby area was nice. Many lifts, therefore don’t have to wait long. It is cheaper hotel and only one we were able to find during Ramadan which is why we stayed here. However, it is quite far. Not ideal if you would like to spend most time in haram. Website states they provide a shuttle service, however it is a shared shuttle service which I believe is provided by Hajj ministry? Therefore, it is not just the hotels. You have to queue after prayer times and there is A LOT of people trying to get on the bus. At busy times such as jummah, the busses stop running. Our room card stopped working every single day and we had to get reception to re issue it. Overall, the hotel was ok. Would I stay again? No. I wouldn’t recommend either.

My experience with Buffet breakfast in Ramadan, eating a museum, and the place is beautiful, I highly recommend it because the food is great, the taste is great and the taste is very diverse, and I like to thank all the staff of the hotel and the hotel management for this excellent service, and the taste keeps this wonderful picture.

Park Inn Makkah Al Naseem

This is was an average stay in the Makkah Naseem complex of hotels, where you have the Millennium Copthorne, Four Points by Sheraton and the Park Inn by Radisson. They are all pretty much identical layout of rooms, with only minor features to distinguish between them. The room in the Park Inn had a colour changing light fitting that went around the headboard of the bed. No doubt my kids would love this if they got their hands on it! According to reception staff there were no actual King beds, all of their Kings are just twin beds pushed together. This had to be done by housekeeping after I'd already checked in. Average room, but pointedly the air conditioning was not working correctly and I had a unpleasantly warm night to contend with. There is an hourly shuttle to and from Haram, which was driven by a very prompt gentleman for once. There is also on site parking, located underground, but it is very tight and not many spaces at all. Would I stay here again? Only if it was available for a cheaper price than the surrounding hotels

Located about 10 minutes ride from AlHaram. Offering hourly shuttle bus to and from AlHaram. Reception staff are very welcoming. The hotel is very clean and modern. Furniture is new. The room is average sized but OK. Washroom is too small. Nothing to complain about. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely put it a top choice for my future stays in Makkah.

Restaurants and super market are near to you. A bus station that would take you to the haram is 1 to 2 minutes away.
