Hotel Ani

My wife and I are seasoned travellers to Croatia having visited different areas four times. This little hotel is up there with the best of them! Why? Well it is the small things that they do ever so well. It is the attention to detail that the hard working staff give whilst you are staying with them. A happy ‘Good Morning’ as you come down for breakfast, an ‘Enjoy your evening’ as you go out for a meal! ‘Welcome back’ when you walk through the door! It is the getting your room cleaned whilst you are down for breakfast. It is the cleanliness of the hotel and the well attended areas. The quality of the breakfast and the service that goes with it! The rooms are modern and spacious and well equipped. The hotel location is great too. The small pool area and sun-beds cannot accommodate all 18 rooms but the area is very nice! 100m downhill and the beach is upon you. Be warned though as finding an area to chill out can be quite a challenge! The Old Town and its restaurants are only a nice 10minute walk away. This is somewhere that you have to visit if you are staying in Makarska. We loved our stay at Hotel Ani and we would 100% recommend it to all couples wanting a really nice stay! Da iawn pawb!

This is a small, adult only hotel with a fantastic staff who are really friendly and helpful. Makarska is a really busy place and this accommodation is an ideal spot for some peace and quiet. Breakfast is excellent. Views from the balcony are class. Some great advice from staff on good restaurants to visit.

Loved this hotel ,we just arrived back home on Monday,Staff extremely friendly and helpful ,hotel was super clean ,quiet and very comfy beds.Breakfast continental in small dinning area which was perfect and once again staff very attentive. Lovely spa area hot tub and sauna . Small pool outside with seating area and a few loungers. This hotel was just up the hill so a short walk down to the beach and restaurants. One thing to note is if you have a city view the road was a little noisy when out on the balcony ,but We would defenatly stay here again as it was perfect for us.

What a lovely little hotel. All the staff were lovely and helpful. The breakfast was very nice and the scrambled eggs were fab!! We had room 105, which comes with a separate lounge, bath & shower and a walk-in wardrobe. The cleaners were in and out while we had breakfast and fresh towels every day. The views from the balcony were lovely and we got the afternoon sun when the loungers were in the shade, we also got to watch the lightening storm on the night before we left. We got a taxi down to the harbour a couple of nights towards the end of our stay as restaurants near the hotel had closed for the season and one that wa soon didn’t have anyone else dining in it so had no atmosphere.

Excellent hotel and staff couldn't do enough for us. Breakfast buffet excellent. We used the hot tub and sauna at the hotel at no extra cost. We had room 105 which had a bedroom ,bathroom and lounge with a balcony view of the coast. Five minute walk to the beach.
