John's Highland Comfort (Guest House)

Back home now after a wonderful two week stay here in a junior suite for which this review is based. Situated away from the main road and overlooking trees brimming with wildlife, great for my bird photography, John’s Highland Comfort Guest House boasts spacious rooms with a wet room/bathroom, comfortable living area with king size bed, ceiling fan, aircon, kettle with complimentary tea and coffee and a large fridge containing reasonably priced drinks. Our suite overlooked the recently built swimming pool and towards the trees beyond that. Judy, the family and the staff were lovely and pleasant and looked after us. Rooms are kept clean daily with towels and bedding changed every few days. There is a shared kitchen area to prepare meals for yourself and use of a washing machine if needed. Excellent restaurants and a superb beach are within easy reach. In a nutshell, it’s basically a home from home. Will return again for sure, (we’ve already booked it)

Spur of the moment holiday to surprise some friends and what lovely accommodation it was, large room lovely and clean and with everything we wanted in it.Thank you Judy and family for a great stay we wouldn’t hesitate to come back it was a lovely find

Wonderful apartment, very friendly people, Judy was so helpful & everything was clean & looked after. Rooms overlooked beautiful greenery & the building of the new swimming pool was in progress & should be ready in the early new year. A lovely place to stay.

Nice big beds, ceiling fan & a/c. Fridge with icebox, security box with key. Beds & towels changed regularly. Wet room shower, toilet all very clean. They are building a swimming pool. It is a short walk to The Camron restaurant, 50 meters ! If you rent a scooter there is a safe of road place to park it.

Our second stay with Judy and John and hopefully not our last . In a quiet setting but near to restaurants shops and a ten minute stroll to the beach made it an ideal location. Our hosts were warm and welcoming and made us feel really at home. Our room was spacious with a lovely bathroom a bed to die for and a great balcony overlooking the gardens and fields beyond. Rooms were cleaned everyday and there was an added bonus of a fridge that was kept stocked with water , beer and soft drinks at a very reasonable price. There is a kettle with tea and coffee ( complimentary ) in the room and the use of a kitchen and washing machine in the communal area. One of our best stays on this years trip, Thank you both for making us so welcome .

We were a family of 5. We had 2 interconnected rooms. Right from the checkin to checkout everything was seamless. Let me detail this out. 1. BEAUTIFUL: For us who come from concrete jungles this place is heavenly. Green,Clean and peaceful. 2. The rooms have a double bed or 2single beds and a sofa bed that can comfortably accommodate 4people, there is a fridge (has beer, water and soft drink all payable) , kettle, smart TV and wifi, wardrobe, safe, dressing table, study table and chair. Clean bathroom with towels and toiletries. The common area has a fully operational kitchen and laundry. The kitchen includes crockery, appliances and vessels that would be required if you intend cooking. We made our breakfast.( your own groceries). Rooms cleaned daily. 3. The location is just perfect, Martins, Camaron and many other restaurants very close. Grocery stores at 5min walking distance. 4.They have cars and arrange for reasonably priced drops and pickup. 5. Judy,John the entire family were an excellent host. 100% will be my stay choice always.
