This camp is absolutely fantastic - the views from the dining area are next to none and the staff are so friendly, welcoming and helpful! Our tent was very comfy and we enjoyed the fact that the facilities are all eco - any lights are run off solar power and the hot water for the showers comes from the local hot spring - which we visited! The food is also all sourced from local villages - and utterly delicious! Being able to stay here allowed us to learn some amazing things about the Maasai culture, we were treated to a viewing of some of their traditional dances, and Dennis took us on a guided walk around the area, showing us useful trees and herbs for everyday life. Overall the Maji Moto Eco Camp has been wonderful, and we can’t wait to come back!

Most amazing camp in Kenya! We loved the staff, the nature, food and energy we got from Maji Moto. The Maasai shared with us lots of stories and good memories. The Maasai manjata visit and school visit was super fun. The Maasai shared with us how they build their houses and care for their cattle. The water in the camp is collected from the hot springs below the camp. The interior and design of the whole camp is superb. Highly recommend!!!

Our 2 nights here were just magic. The location was awesome, the views (particularly sunset) were spectacular, the camp itself was eco friendly (Solar and fires) and the food was fresh with great variety but the absolute best thing were the amazing people working there. We participated in all the activities - village walk, village home visit, bead making, singing and dancing, warrior training throwing and dancing, fire making etc - but it all get genuine and not just a show for foreigners. We genuinely felt welcome by the team and when we left it was like leaving family. Sam was an amazing tour guide, Hilary the best waiter and Alex an amazingly talented chef. The whole team were just professional, friendly, caring, knowledgeable, culturally proud and full of joy. Do yourself a favour and stay here to learn so much about these beautiful people and their culture in the most stunning location

Our trip was last minute with some student friends from uk. They understood we were on a budget, and still accommodated us giving us a remarkable cultural experience. The staff soon became family, showing us their Maasai ways, enlightening us on their history, traditions and how they face modern problems. The mpichi was fabulous. The rooms fantastic and the showers.. well, hot with a lovely view! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and we will be back! Ashe Sam, James and all the others for everything. See you soon :)

This place was wonderful! We felt very immersed in the culture and I loved that it was an ecocamp, that the money we were spending was going directly back to the Maasai people. The food was AMAZING and they were so accommodating for dietary restrictions as I am gluten free. I would highly recommend this place. Everyone was so kind, the beds were very comfortable, the excursions were well planned and reasonably priced (safari was INCREDIBLE). Overall highly highly recommend.
