First let me say it was a wonderful visit: Now, Let’s start with the negatives and get them out of the way. The AC is centrally controlled by the hotel. That’s not good at all! The shower has no edge around it and there is no door, so the water just pours out of the shower onto the bathroom floor. WHAT THE HOLY HECK???!!! We solved the problem by pointing the shower head down and towards the back wall. That’s fine for my 5’ 4” small wife, but I am 6 foot two and I could barely get under the showerhead enough to take a shower. This was very weird. We also rolled up towels and built a little hill or dam/ barrier around the outer edge of the shower stall. Ok, now the good: the room was huge compared to what you’d normally find in Paris (or France for that matter). Our window faced out over the circle below and had great views. It’s close to anything you’d need. The train station was within walking distance. Parking was inside and secure and reasonably priced. Joseph at the front desk was AMAZING and very very helpful. Can’t say enough about how awesome he was. I definitely recommend this hotel.

My wife and I stayed at the Ibis Maisons-Laffitte in August 2021 at the beginning of our August/September France trip. We have stayed at the hotel many times after arriving at the Airport CDG because it is easy to get to and very well located. We had another wonderful experience.

First things first, there effectively is no Lennon Hotel. There is no reception there and no breakfast room. Everything from the administration on is done through the Avalon Hotel next door so, make the assumption that you are going to the Avalon and you will not get lost or confused. The decor is both dated and modern at the same time. I would say, typically French so I am glad they didn't go all chain hotel and boring. The Bedroom - The choice of furniture I would question. In some pictures you can see what looks like a coat rack. This is the 'wardrobe' in the room. There are 6 hooks which may or may not have 6 hangers. Beneath that could well be a full size laptop safe (free to use) and under that, what I would have used as the shoe shelf. There really isn't anywhere for smaller items at all, they likely will stay in your luggage. With the lighting it's either bright or very bright so, there wasn't really an option to have it dimly lit though there are a selection of ceiling light, wall lamps and table lamps, they are all bright. Our room (100) was not a king size bed, I feel 4' 6” as it was certainly smaller than we are used to. In many pictures it shows the white bed pillows supplemented by small blue (green) ones. This is certainly not the case with every room. The Bathroom - I can but speak for our room as I understand other rooms have different configurations. We had a walk in shower with a rain shower head and a hand held spray adjusted using ornate handles. The toilet was on the wall. I personally don't like those, I feel incredibly unsafe especially when they creak like this one did when sat on. To make it worse, we're only 5' 3” and it's just too high, we felt like 5 year olds in need of a step stall. I wondered if this might not be aimed at wheelchair users as I am disabled but I do not use a chair but a mobility scooter (which there was plenty of room for). Then I consider the sink which is high up, too high for a wheelchair user. Of course, there is no chair in the shower either so, if it is meant to be an accessible room, it kind of isn't. The walls are done in tiles. Very mismatched tiles, not sure whether that was intentional or just years of different repairs and replacements. I feel that the light blue small square tiles were original but that when the shower, toilet and sink were last done they were not replicable so got replaced with blue rectangle tiles. The floor tiles are probably original but very worn and though they may have been, I never felt they were clean. Being a walk in shower the water got everywhere and the floor remained wet all night so we kept a towel on the floor by the door. Us British might find it weird to see a hairdryer in the bathroom right next to the sink, I think a plug socket too! The large round mirror was supposed to light up with a touch switch but, we never got it to work. Me and my brother stayed at this hotel for 2 nights to attend a concert at La Defense Arena, so chose this hotel for it's location. The reception is on the 1st floor and the check in was fine, the only thing we weren't told was the breakfast times, but that was in a leaflet in the room, that comes with some other useful information. Unfortunately when we walked into the room there was a horrible smell and after airing the place out for a bit, it was gone but soon came back when you close the window and left the room for a little while. There was nothing that seemed to be causing the smell, so we just kept the window open for fresh air when in the room. This smell was no where else in the hotel, like hallways or reception. When I booked the hotel, I should have looked more into the bathroom situation as I had no idea what a partially open bathroom would be, I couldn't find any photos on their website, so I am uploading a few of my own, not a great shower when sharing a room with your sibling! You can see completely into the shower, the wooden thing in front is basically useless and would be better just being a large plank of wood for some privacy. The toilet was tiny and very hard to move around in for a big person, although I am sure some smaller people would also struggle. The mattress on the bed was comfortable, but the pillows were very lumpy and uncomfortable and the bedding seemed to shed off onto our darker clothing, which was a pain. There was no mini fridge in the room, due to the hotel being eco friendly and the safe in the room is very narrow, so doesn't fit a lot or large items. The breakfast the next morning was disappointing, there was only 2 hot food options, scrambled eggs and eggs you could boil, on the second morning there was bacon but not scrambled eggs, there was a sign but nothing in the pot so I'm not sure if this was just the staff being slow at replenishing the food. There was a decent selection of cold meats and small pastries, but more hot food options would have been nice, but this may be a cultural thing? Unfortunately, not overall a great experience, especially for an apparent 4 star hotel.

The hotel is very clean, super quiet rooms and the staff are very sympathetic (the manager even put my bottles of water in the hotel's refrigerator for which they are cold the next day). The hotel has a very good price ratio compared to the cheap, sale and cheaper hotels in Paris ... I will return closed eyes.

Located at less than 500 metres walking from the entrance of the Palace of Versailles, and with a nice selection of restaurants just around the corner, this hotel could not be better located. In addition to its central location, the hotel is also in a quiet street. The room I stayed in was fairly small, but more than enough for my needs. The bathroom was well arranged, be it that the opening to get in and out of the shower was a bit on the narrow side. The bed was very comfortable and ideal for resting after a day long of exploring the Versailles gardens. The only thing ”missing” in the room was an air-conditioning system, but this was compensated by a sturdy ventilator fan. Breakfast was as expected and well stocked with a good selection of fruit juices. The cherry on top of the cake, however, is the staff. People at the reception were all very friendly and helpful and make their guests feel right at home. They even lent me a cable to charge my phone after I lost mine. I definitely recommend this lovely little hotel, and will stay there again the next time I visit Versailles.

The breakfast was very good, at overall prices lower than the corner restaurant. The bed was good and the room was very clean, and the heating was efficient this month of January. Nothing to say again, they continue.

The hotel is very comfortable and comfortable. The breakfast is not very big but it is in line with the price, you have variety, fruit, eggs, cheese, jam, bread, bakery, ... As regards the location is very close to the walking stop, though it is true that it is a little away from the center. You must bear in mind buying tickets with access to line j. The normal doesn't come up there.

Rented a suite and there's not even a closet to store your clothes. There is just 4 poor hangers for hanging shirts and dresses. In order to get an iron and an iron board, I had to go down to the front desk since nobody was answering the phone… Right in the middle of the shower, the water becomes suddenly boiling hot. Thinking the mixer was broken, I tried the water in the sink and I had the same issue: just no cold water at all anymore. Of course, this happens right in the middle of the shower. Called the front desk, but nobody was answering, while it was just late afternoon. The problem happened again the day after. The day of the departure, I left around 4.30am in order to go to the airport, and the garage door didn't open. There is no button to call the front desk, therefore I had to leave my car on the ramp and go walk to the front desk in order to ask for the door to be opened. The front desk man said ”oh, I though it would open by itself…” Coming back from the ride around 6am, I tried to call the front desk to get a taxi booking, but nobody answered the phone. I went down in the lobby and the hotel was literally empty. I went back to my room, tried again to call and after 10 minutes somebody picked-up the phone. I told him ”if you're asked by the taxi company where am I going, just tell them destination ABC”. To which he replied ”oh, you can tell the driver yourself when they will ask”. Clearly not listening. The day before leaving, I went to the bar for a dinner since there restaurant was closed… I ordered some food that was brought to me in a pot that was being opened right in front of me and just put in the plate. Just like that, in the pot with the branding and the list of ingredients… I ordered a cold cut plate and it was clearly not fresh at all: the camp was as hard as skin and discolored on the sides, the sauces were discolored as well, the cheese slices were glued one to another. The service is given to kids who have no sense of class or refinement, and they're not even shaved. The lamp that goes from the bar to the outside (which is located inside the bar) is covered with a massive spider net from. As compensation for the cold cut board, I was given a bottle of cheap Bordeaux.

Very clean, modern, comfortable and appealing hotel. The rooms are beautiful and the service is great. You have there everything you need including a fridge and a small cooking corner. There is a nice gym and it is a stone throw from the tram station (T13). The place is very reasonably priced too. Walking to the center of town is around 10 minutes, but you have everything next to the hotel if you wish. There breakfast is nice but a bit pricy. Go to the boulangerie and have a great cake or sandwich. We loved the place.
