In conversation with the owner who enquired ETA. I was whatsapping that my flight was on time. That I landed and was in transit. That I needed assistance with my luggage. Especially as it was on a high floor after a lengthy travel. Got there and literally no one was there to greet me. Just a WhatsApp or phone call. We had booked a reservation for dinner and had to hoik the suitcases upstairs ourselves. I had a bad back from travelling. Was told they are not 24/7. Even after I was diligent with time of arrival. It felt very cold and unfriendly. Luckily only one night and we stayed in Cuitadella for less in a hotel that trips over itself to help you. A perfect antidote. Unless you are happy with no concierge or welcome on arrival avoid

Second hotel from Ignasi, the passionate owner of Ses Sucreres, in Minorca as well. Very cosy feel as home hotel in the centre of Mahon. Decorated with a lot of attention and "petits machins ici et là". Very artistic, creative and fun. Mahon was way more interesting as expected, and worth a few days. We highly recommend!

A really wonderful place to stay . Its like staying in someones beautiful home with your own private space. Every detail has been thought of and it is quite perfect in my eyes. It is so peaceful so calm such a lovely atmosphere. I travel a lot and this is absolutely at the top of my list. It is grand in its way as the building is grand but everything is there for a purpose . No pretension no waste. The owner and the staff could not have done more to make my stay the best possible experience. My only regret is that I did not stay longer but I was on my way to another destination. I will most certainly return .

This hotel is a real ‘one off’. Hidden away just off the bustle of the old town, it oozes originality, charm and great warmth. We felt as though we were staying in a private house full of quirky antiquities, fabulous art and splendid architecture. The host could not be more helpful. One of the loveliest hotels I’ve stayed in.

The Hevresac is truly a unique experience - from the moment you step into the hotel you know it is special. The atmosphere, the attention to detail of the decor and the welcome we received. We loved our room with its small terrace and it felt like our home for the few days we were there. The breakfasts were something to look forward to and Ignasi, the owner, and staff ensured that it was a wonderful experience. We will return as soon as possible!

5 wonderful days at this lovely, cozy hotel. The designs, colors & detailed decorations were fun & original. The location was perfect. Ignasi and his staff are super nice & helpful. I definitely recommend this hotel for a fabulous stay in Mahon.

Exceptional accommodation right in the heart of Mahón, perfectly situated only a short walk from the main public carpark and the city centre. Quirky decor makes for an interesting and relaxing space to spend time in. We opted for breakfast which set up up for the day, various pastries, fruits and eggs etc. The owner was on hand each morning to ensure every need was catered for, he offered advice on where to visit etc, nothing was too much trouble. The room (7) was spotlessly clean and bright and airy with lovely natural light. Cannot fault this Hotel and highly recommend.

The hotel is in a recently renovated historic building in Mahon old town. The restauration works and interior decoration will be a joy for any architectually interested guest. The breakfast consists of high quality organic food, and the common areas make you feel at home. What made the stay tryly unique was, however, the host Ignacio. Friendly, informative, and full of positive energy there is nothing he will not do to make your stay at Menorca perfect. I warmly recommend Hotel Hevresac and look forwards to my next stay.
