Galaxy Beach Hotel Alanya

A beautiful hotel with very attentive staff. Also very friendly. The pool area was lovely, there was no fighting for loungers there was room for everyone. A mixture of different countries music playing (including English) which we loved all of. The food was lovely, obviously some nights are better than others but that would be the case everywhere as it’s down to your preference but we never went hungry. The buffet has a range of food always with fresh bread and butter. The entertainment was good, they had a DJ and a shisha bar every night and they did a couple of hotel night outs to clubs. The room was perfect, beautiful sizes and air con fitted with a balcony too! Our bed was made and room tidied every day. The bar was good, it didn’t have many alcoholic options but a gentleman in a nearby shop explained this is because alcohol is frowned upon in turkey but we didn’t once feel we were missing out. The only thing I would change would be the staff from the market, tattoo place and spa consistently approaching you to convince you to buy things. Overall we had a lovely holiday and would definitely recommend this hotel. We are very happy!

All inclusive? A poxy 1 man bar open 10am til 10pm then closed not even paid drinks The bar clises several times in the day.and opens on the 6th floor in the restaurant (disgusting food) so if your by the pool mid day and fancy a drink Option 1 wait 2pm Option 2 go thro maib hotel and 6 floors up drink your drink and return to the pool area. The view is standard alley way or cinstruction site or pay and put you in a semi decent room Drinks .. mouth wash cup.size beers or vodka gin thats it Shocking .. AVOID not.catered for English

Terrible service. Food makes you sick. Entertainment is just weird. Do not stay here

I will list the positive things about this hotel, anything not listed you can most definitely assume to be negative! Positives.......There are no mosquitos and there is a tunnel leading to the beach that will take you 100 yards further away from this hostile environment. So that's the positives! If you still want to try the Galaxy Beach Hotel, make sure you use the chain on your hotel room door when you are in your room, to stop unwanted staff allowing themselves access to your room (we were dressing for dinner and not fully clothed and found a man in the room at 7.30pm) get a do not disturb sign and hire a safe. I have travelled alot and never have I written a negative review, I prefer to let people decide for themselves but on this occasion I feel I should warn people this is not a comfortable environment, the staff and other guests are hostile and intimidating. Please spend your money somewhere else, somewhere peaceful, friendly and relaxing. We have just had the worst week of our lives and could not wait to leave.

Cleaning service, ok make daily cleaning,no problem.The food ok,One problem was the door of shower cabine work bad.I make a reclamation at reception,the man said I send the plumer.I go home and the shower was not repaired. Plumer 0 stars.The most big problem are the rocks from sea.You can go în sea about 10 m ,and than begin the rocks ,and they are height 0.5 m ,you can only șwim to go în sea.I d ont recomand this location.

Smelt of mildew, everywhere. Firstly we were given the wrong room, we booked and paid for a double, we were given a room with 2 single beds, which we were told we'd have to keep for 2 days. Rooms do not have a sea view, if you leant to the side and squinted you could just about make out the sea in the horizon. Our room door looked as though someone had tried to get into it with a screwdriver. The rating of the hotel was a 2* at the absolute best, not the 4* that it's rated. Absolute lie. The food was atrocious, very poor food hygiene was awful. The fruit was fizzy and burned your mouth on biting (clearly out of date) all fruit was massively pumped full of water, all the fruit juices were severely watered down. Unless you get to the buffet at the start, you're lucky to get anything as they do not add more food, only the chips were topped up. Meat was very questionable, wouldn't be surprised if the local stray cats and dogs were used. You cannot get drinks any time of day or night. We asked for an extra cover for sleeping but were told we couldn't have it as housekeeping had gone home however we asked the next day and still got told no. The unhelpful receptionist woman just laughed incredulously. Seemed to be 2 settings for air con, freezer or barely working. Wifi NOT free, WiFi in rooms charged at 3 euros per phone per day, free WiFi in lobby EXTREMELY patchy and unreliable. You could be waiting in the queue for food or drink and the staff come along and jump the queue in front of you. There were however 2 or 3 nice staff members, the main being the lady that runs the shop in the lobby - Hatice, she was lovely. "Private" beach was unclean, covered in cigarette butts and rubbish. You get treated and served based on your nationality, locals try to scam you, someone tried to charge us 7 euros for a pineapple. The pool was unclean and not regularly "cleaned" as apparently done so, after the "cleaning" it was so full of chorline that it caused my partners eyes to burn, blur and go red. They allowed guests to claim and hog with their towels the few sun loungers there for the entire day despite not being used. All extremely run down, cracked or broken, not to mention the surrounding area basically a building sight. My fiancé sat on a chair on our balcony and it crumbled entirely underneath him causing injury (He is a tall muscular man), which is just a drop in the ocean of how run down and shoddy everything was. Broken, rusty mini fridge in our room that barely worked. Absolutely furious to have been charged 1700 for this holiday when from others we spoke to, who paid the same got completely different holidays at other hotels. The holiday we should have had considering the money we paid. We have not had a holiday in more than 10 years, for this to be our first holiday after so long and saving up is diabolical. We want a refund for this awful holiday. This was one of the best rated hotels on TripAdvisor and Love holiday's?! Won't be booking

What a joke of a hotel, DO NOT BOOK HERE IF YOU ARE ENGLISH. Music around the pool and at night only caters for Eastern Europeans, the food is only catered for Eastern Europeans, we was the only English there and not only do all staff give you dirty looks and can’t talk English but even the other guests look at you like dirt just because you’re English! Staff very rude especially the woman on reception one of the worst mannered women I’ve ever met in my life, says all inclusive 10am to 10pm, it’s a lie, they shut for about 4/5 hours during the day

Very low budget / never 4 stars. Food is not great, reminds me of school dinners - we came here to be predominantly on the beach but the beach is SO ROCKy. The cleaners never want to give you new towels ??? It’s really weird.- the whole place looks like it’s falling apart
