Booked for 5D4N full boards diving package with Liberty Guests House. As a solo diver, I’m quite hesitant if they didn’t give their full diving services during my stay. To be honest, proceed with the booking without any research, only read a few comments from here and followed their Facebook page. Surprisingly, I received the best services and great hospitality from the owner, Zala & all the staffs. Started with Tharuka, helping with booking and arrangements. I got a nice room with sea views. I watched sunrises every morning. The room has AC and water heater. When I arrived, immediately I had dive briefing and did check-up dive after the lunch. Since I’m the only diver, I had Jailam & Zala to accompany me. Both of them are instructors. Even they have limited diving equipment, but they provided good services. Then, I went to Omadhoo Wall for my first dive with a big boat and another 2 crews. I had incredible dives experience, Jailam is a great guide, patience and supportive which made me feel safe. He shared tips to get a good video with Insta360 too. On the second last day, we tried to look for whale shark, but failed. Last day, I asked the possibility to repeat Dhigurah Baeyru site for whale shark, my last chance to accomplish bucket list. Supposedly I did 2 dives, but I chose to proceed with 1 because it’s quite far location and I need to clear my ‘No fly’ duration before my flight. Another surprised, they agreed and we successfully see the whale shark. The boat crews are awesome. After whale shark encounter, we had lunch at the sandbank, which I don’t even have to swim (they get the boat closer to the beach). Succeed the dives with sights of whale shark, nurse sharks, grey shark, dolphin, manta & eagle rays. All the meals are good, nice Maldivian meals. Even the last dinner is on the beach under the stars celebrating marriage proposal & anniversary of 2 guests couples. I would recommend anyone to stay with Liberty Guest House. Plan to come back next year for another visit.

Very bad! Next to a scrap and garbage incinerator (see photos). Black smog stinks every day. The beach partially littered. Please book half board immediately, because the a la carte menu is very bad. The portions are exaggeratedly small: only 50 grams of fish and 500 grams of rice!!! Cockroaches next to the kitchen and my room (number 1)! The team is not really nice, sometimes even arrogant. They just want to make money from tourists. You are approached every day because the excursions want to sell. The island is not beautiful. The apartment is only suitable for one night in transit (for transfer by ferry to another island). Never longer! I really do not recommend this guest house! Bitte sofort das Halbpension buchen, denn das Menü a la Cart ist sehr schlecht. Die Portionen sind übertrieben klein: nur 50 gr Fisch und 500 gr Reis!!! Kakerlaken neben der Küche und meinem Zimmer (Zim.Nr.1)! Das Team ist nicht wirklich nett, teilweise sogar arrogant. Sie wollen nur um jeden Preis Geld mit Touristen verdienen. Man wird deswegen jeden Tag angesprochen, weil die Ausflüge verkaufen wollen. Die Insel ist nicht schön. Das Appartement ist nur für eine Nacht während einer Durchreise geeignet (zwecks Transfer mit einer Fähre zu einer anderen Insel). Niemals länger! Ich empfehle dieses Appartement wirklich nicht weiter! Obok spalarnia złomu i śmieci (patrz foto). Czarny dym cuchnie codziennie. Plaża częściowo zaśmiecona. Prosze rezerwowac od razu kolacje w cenie (half pension), ponieważ menu a la carte jest bardzo złe. Porcje są przesadnie małe: tylko 50 gramów ryby i 500 gramów ryżu! ! ! Karaluchy obok kuchni i mojego pokoju (pokój nr 1)! Zespół nie jest zbyt miły, czasem nawet arogancki. Chcą po prostu zarobić na turystach za wszelką cenę. Zagaduja ciebie codziennie, ponieważ chcą sprzedać wycieczki. Wyspa nie jest ladna. Apartament nadaje się tylko na jedną noc tranzytową (na transfer promem na inną wyspę). Nigdy na dłużej! Naprawdę nie polecam tego apartamentu!
