Overall the facility is a bit outdated but well maintained and had no issues using it.
I especially liked the bathroom.
You can take a relaxing bath while watching the sunset. If you don't like it, you can lean on the bed and watch the sunset.
Overall, the beach is narrow and the waves are high, so it is good to play in the pool. There seems to be a lot of seaweed and fish on the beach of the hotel, as fish like anchovies are washed up by the waves and there are so many seaweed and fish.
The staff are friendly and, of course, they speak English very well.
Children under the age of 12 are not allowed to stay, and we were the only Asians for 3 days and 2 nights. We were half board and the meal was ok but the restaurant selection was limited.
There is only one small supermarket around the resort, and you have to go to nearby Beau Vallon for a place to eat.
Beau Vallon Beach is beautiful. Visit us.

First and foremost, the hotel location is breathtaking. It is located on a beach called 
”Beau Vallon” which literally translates to “beautiful valley”. The food at the hotel was very good, especially the room service (club sandwich recommended). Friendly staff, expensive bar and room service, which is expected in a hotel.
Hotel was very clean, we didn’t have any problems with cleanliness. The internet at the hotel was good for a remote island, so don’t expect 20-30mbps speeds. If you want to get the full island experience i suggest you rent a car, taxi’s aren’t cheap.
This hotel also has the biggest pool on the island.
Overall great experience, would totally recommend this hotel if you can afford it !

Villa de Roses is located in a very good spot on the Mahe Island.
Family friendly and as quiet as it could be.
Beach, restaurants, Public transport, supermarkets, ATMs and pharmacy are 1 to 5 minutes away from where it's located.
Clean and beautiful environment.
Although, it didn't provide a few things such as hair dryer and change of towels and bed sheets and breakfast, but even without them we enjoyed our stay in there.

Came in with a great view of the aesthetic environment,design of the hotel and the accomodations too.Upon arrival at the bar for the day use pass,we were a group of Seychellois(e)s who was very well greeted by Mr Richard and he has been at our service throughout the day,he was very kind,one might say gentle soul,he catered our needs and been on time with the commands/demands,he checked up on us regularly(one might say at very good timings).We would like to recommend him to the hotel management for a good praise and wish him all the best,hope to come back soon,we hope he becomes at our service again.Thank you and good luck in your work Mr Richard.

Despite the amazing reviews of this location, I was a bit sceptical of what I might find. But from the moment I drove up the hill into the property, I knew I had truly arrived paradise. I stayed for 4 nights in villa 9 at the far end of the property which had a hammock, and the views from atop this place are amazing, especially at sunrise and sunset. Down the hill and across the road, is a scenic entrance to one of the many public beaches spread across the island. I should have explored it more though. I enjoyed the few walks and the many drives I made from the residence to some amenities. I loved the antique feel of the house, and I was amazed by its matching level of functionality, although the kitchen was lacking a few utensils for effective cooking. I enjoyed my dinner on the terrace a lot, soaking in the cool breeze from the sea. The host Mayna was helpful with some recommendations, even though my initial payment to confirm my booking was mixed up somehow, and I ended up spending additional time at the airport trying to sort that all out. They have a library where you can borrow books to read from too. If I ever returned to the island for a longer stay, I'll love to stay at La Residence again.

This price is relatively cost-effective in Seychelles. It is not close to the airport and the center of Victoria, more than ten kilometers away. There is a beach across the road and the shallow sea is full of seaweed. If it's nearby, the small shop downstairs of the hotel is clean and reasonably priced. The street next to it is full of shabby shops with very high prices. What makes me unhappy is that if you want to send videos and photos via the hotel Wi-Fi, there is a charge, 300 rupees a night, 150 rupees a night. When I first asked, they said it was free, but in fact it was just the most basic free package involving photos and videos. Just ask for extra money. Anyway, everything in this place is expensive! In addition, it is the rainy season, so the sheets always feel noisy and there is a faint smell. Overall, it's just average. I won't stay there next time!

There is some sea**** floating in the sea water, I wonder if it is seasonal. Everything else is fine. The service staff were very friendly. According to the regulations, check-in can only be done at 2 o'clock. We were first given a rest room, and then we were able to check in after it was cleaned after 1 o'clock. Beautiful environment, suitable for vacation.

GGuest UserIn my humble opinion, Probably one of the best luxury resorts in the world.
Since I have been to the Seychelles many times, I have heard about this resort much earlier. Recently, property was purchased by the Anantara resorts company, what additionally encouraged us to stay in this luxurious property for several days.
The location of the hotel is one of the best in Seychelles - our villa No. 21 had an amazing view of the beach and the whole bay. The whole concept of this resort is based on providing guests with the best possible experience of their stay - the service is at the highest level. Our quest relations manager - Mathew - was amazing - that's how we had named the crab toy - the mascot we got for our kids as a present from Mathew!! We mention him with a big, broad smile on our face. Our host - butler of the Villa named Hana - was wonderful and very helpful person who fulfilled all our wishes and dreams. A very strong point of the resort is the main restaurant and its extremely talented chef - I have not yet met a person who can prepare dishes of various completely traditional world cuisines - Asian / Italian / Mediterranean / Indian. It is a place to which we will certainly come back in the near future.

For my opinion much more better than big hotels or resorts, everything what you need can find in the room. Set up of the room nice as well! Staff are friendly. И совершенно не продумана история с дверью в туалет. Когда лежишь на кровати, которая находится прям рядом с дверью, в общем-то в щели видишь все действия сидящего на туалете) Ну и близость к воде: искупаться вы не сможете, вода мутновата и грязновата. Зато бесплатно дают каяки. В России это очень популярный отель, я знаю что забронировать место здесь очень сложно, для меня это было как навязчивая идея) Но на деле оказалось, что это не плохие апартаменты, но не стоят того что бы за них биться)

ZZHUODANWherever I go, the Four Seasons Smile service is always my favorite, so every time I travel, Four Seasons is my first choice.
Environment: Seychelles occupies a large area in four seasons. The beach is really sandy and blue, and there are many water projects. There are many birds around you every morning at breakfast. Snorkeling can see a lot of fish.
Hygiene: Actually, the hygiene of the room is very good, but I do n’t know why the food waste that was cleared from the room was piled on the outdoor table on the first day, and it was not found and cleared the next day, until I called Someone came to take it, maybe it was forgotten ... Overall it was good.
Service: Needless to say, the service of the four seasons is caring and all the waiters are full of smiles. The kids club also has a lot of entertainment! Our family of four, a 4-year-old and a 7-year-old child, provided us with an extra bed for free in all seasons, and breakfast was also free. This is very sweet. Children can spend a day at the hotel without getting bored.
Breakfast: To be honest, I really want to eat the breakfast of the Singapore chef, because the previous guests said it was very good. Unfortunately, the chef also left when we went. This breakfast is really nothing to eat except for bread. Apart from being delicious, there are too few choices a little bit more than that of a Samsung hotel. Also the breakfast at Praslin Raffles was much better. This really hopes to strengthen.
The hotel has its own parking lot and is free.
Mahe Island has nothing special. In fact, the four seasons are a good choice because you can feel the narrow Seychelles inside.

黄黄The hotel is located in the southwest corner, far from the city, and it is not convenient to travel; the swimming pool is small, the beach is not as big and beautiful as the imagination; the restaurant has a small variety of buffets; the hotel service is particularly good, because the hotel room has not been packed yet when we arrived. Proactively extended our check-out time to 6 pm; the hotel on Seychelles is more expensive overall, compared to the Kempinski Hotel, which is a relatively cost-effective product.

GGuest UserVenu en voyage de noces aux Seychelles, quelle n'a pas été notre déception en arrivant dans cet hôtel, en même temps take away, restaurant de différentes cultures culinaires.. plusieurs activités concomitantes pour un maximum de rentrées financières, mais aucune de qualité in fine. La chambre réservée pour 4 nuits présente des peintures qui ne demandent qu'à tomber, odeur d'humidité qui pique le nez, nous avons mis de côté les oreillers car il était impossible de poser la tête dessus tellement l'odeur était forte 😵 nous avons demandé à changer de chambre, ce qui n'a pas posé de soucis mais n'a rien arrangé. Le sommum : cafard mort à côté du lit, que nous avons du enlever. Des huisseries fatiguées avec systèmes de verrouillage hs ou presque, une literie molle sur laquelle on sent bien les ressorts...Bref, fuyez même si l'emplacement peut attirer. De nouvelles constructions non terminées au droit de la piscine, l'avenir de cet hôtel est plus qu'incertain. Après, vous êtes libres de vous faire votre propre avis! J'espère que ce post vous aura été utile!😉

The negative points: check-in one hour of wait, a slight delay in making the daily household of the rooms, no airport-hotel and hotel-airport transfer shuttle.

GGuest UserMe and my wife stayed in Chez Batistas already five times and want to come back one day. The reason is the location, the restaurant and friendliness of the staff. What people criticized in previous reviews is true. The internet is far from good and the rooms definitely require renovation. There are many imperfections there but the place is simply magical. Make sure you stay there on Sunday when the restaurant organizes great buffet lunch with lots of delicious food and live music. Many local families come and have great time. Do not miss it.
