Nice room overlooking the mountains. Christine the host was super. We had the grilled fish for our first day there 😋. Very yummy. You'll need a car to explore this part of the island and discover other restaurants. We ate at La Gaulette, Surfers Bar and Koko Zerm, all absolutely delicious! We booked a late check out as our flight was at midnight. This allowed us another full day on the beach to relax, shower, change, meal out then pack. Lovely part of Seychelles, the beach across the road is almost private and great for snorkeling. Close to Anse Intendance, Takamaka and Anse Royal all about 10 mins drive. Great place to stay.

I have been in a lot of places all over the world but this one was one of the nicest places which I've visited. From the first moment it breathes on you the peaceful, charming and friendly atmosphere from the owner and whole staff. The time stops and you steps into clean spacious rooms, with delicious food and every wish you have, all staff try to fulfill. For sure I'm not here the last time and now planning to return back soon! Thank you for everything!

We had an amazing stay at the Captain's Villa by default, as we had actually booked the Dovass apartments. But due to a system error, creating duplicate bookings, the owner of Dovass apmnts, Valina, was good enough and professional to get all 8 of us accommodated at her sister's hotel next door. The Captain's Villa was a lovely place and the owner Flolise and the property manager Christine were very welcoming. Even Valina from the Dovass apmnts was there to receive us and ensure there were no other hiccups. The rooms were well-equipped, spacious and comfortable, with plenty of room to park our rental cars too. The location was a 5 minute walk to the beach, with a quaint cafeteria near by for some delicious snacks. All in all we had a lovely stay at this property, and would definitely recommend the same. A big thank you to Valina of Dovass Apartments for sorting out the overbooking issue and ensuring we were accommodated comfortably at the property next door.

Hi, I just came back from my honeymoon spent at Captains Villa. The Food was 10/10 had breakfast included but we could also order dinner at the villa. Accommodation 10/10 they cleaned the room everyday and switched bath towels every second day The Villa management was kind and helped us with renting a car and booking a trip for better price than usual

Arrived to a car park surrounded by a few small building with dogs barking loudly nearby. A woman appeared and demanded our passports at once. Having been forced to pay immediately we then found the room overlooked the car park and was very basic inside. Slow wifi, weak Aircon, lumpy beds with hard pillows. She was expecting it so refused any flexibility to check out early. Breakfast was a real low point - she charged us €90 for 3 basic omelettes with filter coffee. The beach is nearby but you won’t want to spend time there. Wild dogs running around and guys with machetes chopping coconuts from the trees, tons of seaweed and the water is full of rocks and sea urchins. Zero facilities on the beach. Nothing nearby unless you hike 1km or drive to a beach shack cafe. We checked out early - couldn’t take the isolation and prickly attitude of the house manager. Seychelles has 100x better places to stay than here. All these other 5* reviews must be fake as they bear no relation to what we found.

From the start of the ***********, Christine was amazing. I phoned and WhatsApp her. She helpen me in every way to complete my booking. At arrival, she waited for us at the airport. We arrived at captain s villa. Perfect situated in a quiet, beatiful area. Richt across the perfect beach ( sometimes had the beach for ourselves). We had delicious breakfast every morning. And in the evening, we could choose to enjoy some nice fish( fresh from the sea). The rooms were big and clean. Keysere( from Sri Lanka) made sure our room was perfect every day . Big thanks to him too. Christine helpen you in every way. Big thanks. One of the best places i have been in the world. Love the seychelles

We have just returned from our holidays to the Seychelles, where we stayed at Captain's Villa. What a beautiful place! We stayed in a family room, which was very clean, comfortable and spacious. The staff is very efficient, polite and friendly. The location is superb, just 2 minutes away from the most enchanting beach, which we would sometimes have all to ourselves. You can't put a price on something like this. The food at the villa was lovely, and the seafood was something special. We absolutely loved the whole grilled red snapper and fisherman's platter with the most delicious lobster (better than any lobster I have had in London). If I have to find any criticism it would be breakfast. It was tasty and well cooked but it wasn't a good value for money. We would like to thank all staff for their hospitality especially Christine who has always been very helpful and understanding. I do hope to return one day.
