Overall a good experience. Superb location and walking distance to most of the sights. Very helpful staff. Food was not good, apart from one fish curry I had which was excellent but the included breakfast buffet was not very good. Pool was not in the cleanest condition but still nice. Overall good experience though as there are lots of places to eat around and the staff were very good and very helpful.

A real oasis in the town. Set around a courtyard full of trees and plants and a swimming pool.large rooms, comfy beds and an excellent restaurant. All clean.. menu at restaurant good for all meals. Beautiful omelette pancakes or dosa for breakfast as well as an Indian breakfast. Management and staff are friendly and helpful. A group of us stayed for more than a week.

It was very pleasant stay. They have a restaurant inside property where you can enjoy delicious food. Also a swimming pool where children can enjoy. The property is just at a walk away distance from butter ball, Arjuna Penance. Very nice place for a family stay.

This used to be an amazing hotel, 10 years ago, a delightful oasis in heart of Mamallapuram, but it is now very run-down, dirty and disorganised. Was shocked to come back after ten years. All around the pool the edges are cracked, including in the children's area (very dangerous), the trees are overgrown so you don't get sun anymore, the food is very poor quality and the staff in restaurant are new and don't communicate well, unlike before. Plastic water pipes and rubbish lying around the sun-bathing area. The toilet by the pool is disgusting. The *** managing the pool is the same and still friendly. That's all. He's trying to do his best with such a rundown facility. It's a pity they don't invest in what could be a real gem, like before. There is a new wing of rooms but they need to focus on the essentials: the food, the pool, safety, cleanliness, staff.... I won't be going back. The hotel standard has now improved elsewhere and there are better options around now in other hotels. A lost opportunity, very sad!

This heritage style hotel is close to the beach, restaurants and is a bit of paradise in busy Mahabalipuram. Excellent breakfast - buffet style or fresh dosa or omelette. Exception service - from the reception desk (Davya and S Jasvat Dor - very helpful in organising birthday cake) - to the restaurant and room service - such kind, professional and helpful people. We loved our room - clean and well appointed. We have been staying at this hotel for a number of years over the time we travel to India. Julie & Christopher Orchard Australia

For celebrating 2025 new year we stayed there with family. Good things - very very nice location, very good swimming pool with caring pool attendant with reasonable room price. Bad things - mosquito, mosquito lot of mosquito in day and night inside the room. We used two mosquito liquid machines and a hit mosquito spray to sleep inside the room. Remember this and go prepare with this machine and spray.

Was undergoing renovations which was irritating. On the plus side, they have a nice property with a clean pool. Something needs to be done about the mosquitoes. Very under staffed despite having a polite crew. Takes a long time to get responses. Tv and phones need an immediate upgrade. Wi-fi is non existent
