Hotel is good but people are the best. They treat you so well that you forget all your sorrows and worries. It is a fantastic place to spend your days and nights. Buggie usually takes time to take you to places, but rest is compensated with super friendly professionals, people associated with the hotel are the best, perfect service and perfect vacation.

The lush, beautifully maintained grounds, coupled with the gentle sounds of birdsong ,created a truly tranquil atmosphere. The staff were incredibly attentive and friendly, always ready with a smile and eager to assist. We spent our days lounging by the pool, enjoying delicious meals at the on-site restaurant, If you're looking for a peaceful escape to recharge is the perfect destination." Activities for kids are really good. The best part we loved was the water park which was amazing and we would definitely come back with the kids once again. The restaurant woods is a must try , looks expensive on the menu but it’s not as the meal proportion is really good. Amazing stay and good hospitality. Had a little argument on the first day and I was little furious because of some misunderstanding but it was my fault and already apologized for it. Suggestions : pool guns were not working , steam room need to be checked as it’s too slow , staff is really good but they just need to be little coordinated. Balcony need to have little more little and an extra plug. Obviously not everything can be done but this are just the suggestions. They were a lot of people ( staff) to be mentioned for their service but I really don’t remember the name. I think it was Nitay and the manager in restaurant ANSHUL was amazing and going from table to table to all the guests . Amit was really helpful with our voucher issues.

Our recent stay at Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar Resort & Spa was an absolute disgrace to the Marriott brand. As Marriott Bonvoy Gold Elite members, we expected at least basic respect and privileges, but instead, we were treated like beggars. 1. Zero Elite Recognition & Fake Promises Room upgrades were shown as “available” till the day before, but at check-in, we were bluntly denied with no explanation. Marriott’s so-called elite benefits meant nothing here. 2. Bed Bugs & Ants – Health Hazard! The room was infested with bed bugs and red ants. My parent was bitten multiple times – her leg swelled badly, and the staff completely ignored it. Not even basic first aid was offered. This is not just bad service; it is criminal negligence for a luxury resort. 3. Rude & Insensitive Management Instead of solving the problem, the duty manager “threw” 2000 Bonvoy points at us like alms. That’s how Marriott values a guest’s health and experience? Shameful. 4. Diamond Earring Lost – No Effort to Help My niece lost a diamond earring during the stay. The staff didn’t even bother to properly clean or search the room. We were simply dismissed. 5. Bonvoy Points Withheld – Lies & Excuses Our stay points were not credited for over a month. The hotel kept lying, blaming “Marriott Bonvoy not responding.” We know this was false. 6. Marriott Corporate Escalation – Useless! After returning home, I escalated the issue. Ms. Shalini and Mr. Saurabh from Marriott Bonvoy’s highest escalation desk promised fair compensation and a written response. They have now ghosted us completely – no calls, no emails, nothing. This entire experience was humiliating, unsafe, and a complete breach of trust. For a brand like Marriott to allow such filthy conditions, rude treatment, and zero accountability is beyond unacceptable. We feel cheated, disrespected, and deeply let down. WARNING to all travelers: Avoid Le Meridien Mahabaleshwar at all costs. Marriott Bonvoy’s loyalty program and “elite” recognition are just empty words when you really need their support.

It was a great experience within the property we didn’t even feel the need to explore any other parts of the destination, but the property gave us a mesmerising experience in the woods. Additionally we did a in house treck in which we were guided by Mr. Jitender Singh he was one of the fun people we met there he guided us really well clicked pictures for us and was one of the best guides i would have met in my life.

Stayed at 3 nights, here’s my honest take: The Good: • Housekeeping staff was excellent — room was beautifully decorated with roses and origami towels. • Water bottles provided generously upon request. • Scenic property, decent breakfast. The Not-So-Good: 1. Misleading Size • Marketed as 27 acres, but only ~7 acres are actually usable and fenced. 2. Poor Staff Training • Staff rarely smiled or greeted guests. • We were often ignored while seeking directions in the large property. • Buggy service was slow and reactive, not proactive. • Internal coordination was lacking — no follow-up on upgrade request, late checkout promise not honored. • Staff were seen joking and bickering in front of guests. 3. Lack of 5-Star Touch • No recognition of repeat movements — gate staff asked daily if I was checking in, despite driving in/out multiple times. • Umbrellas provided had holes. • Internet didn’t work on Day 1; dongle had no signal. • Wi-Fi worked on Day 2, but mobile network (especially Vi) is unreliable. 4. Breakfast & Dining • Breakfast was okay, but not memorable. Small dining area, average spread. 5. Price vs Value • ₹18,000–₹20,000 per night is steep for what’s offered. • At ₹10,000–₹12,000 it might be acceptable — but definitely not at premium pricing. Final Verdict: The resort looks premium from afar, but the service doesn’t match. I’ve stayed at top resorts in Europe, the Middle East, and Asia — and this simply doesn’t compare. No personal touch, no attentiveness, no elegance. It’s a good 3.5 to 4-star resort at best, not the 5-star experience it claims.
