loved My Stay! we had such a great time at this hotel! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome .they were always kind, helpful, and ready with a smile. we appreciated , and it really made a difference. The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful location, surrounded by stunning scenery that instantly makes you feel relaxed. Whether it's the view of the sea, the mountains, or a charming garden, every corner offers a sense of tranquility. Sitting on the balcony, I could hear nothing but the gentle breeze and the occasional birdsong—no traffic, no noise, just pure calmness. The atmosphere was perfect whether enjoying a morning coffee or watching the sunset in the evening. It truly felt like an escape from the busy world The room was super clean, and the whole place was so quiet and relaxing. I slept like a baby! about the food… wow! Every meal was fresh and full of amazing Greek flavors. I looked forward to dinner everyday. If you’re looking for a cozy, peaceful place with great people and delicious food, this is it. Can’t wait to come back! 😊

Beautiful place to stay, a little out of the way but that was what we wanted for this holiday. Our room with swim up pool was amazing. The hotel is located on the side of a hill and there are some steep slopes to navigate! The whole resort was clean and tidy and staff were really friendly but they maybe could do with more staff on reception at busy times as they could be rushed off their feet trying to help everyone. Restaurant Dimitra is where you go for breakfast, lunch and evening meal- it's self service buffet style food. There is a decent selection of things to eat but sometimes it was repetitive. Restaurant Villani is open 11.00-19.00 and provides snacks including pizza and chicken nuggets. There are 3 pools to choose from plus a child's pool. The infinity pool is lovely with stunning views. The bar staff are friendly, especially Manos who was always cheerful. The drinks on the all inclusive package were fab including a cocktail menu. There was entertainment on in the evenings including Greek dancers with (some) audience participation! The hotel provides a free bus down to the beach which is only a 5 minute drive and there are 12 time slots to choose from. You can also book to go to Rethymno town which is €8 return and half price for children under 12 (there are 10 time slots to choose from). We explored the venetian marina, saw the Rimondi fountain and looked round the back streets with little shops tucked away. We also went to the 16th Century Fortezza which has an entry fee of €4 for adults. (We were there at midday in the middle of August- probably more cooler and shadier places to be but an excellent experience none the less!) We had a fabulous week at the Rimondi Grand and I would stay there again but I think it's more of a 4 star rating than 5. Thank you for your hospitality and for making our holiday so enjoyable!

We stayed at Rimondi for 8 nights and loved it. It was a gorgeous stay with amazing views. We did all inclusive. PROS- nice pool areas, lovely service, food was ok, pretty and nice views, fun entertainment CONS- overpriced drinks after the all inclusive shuts, very hilly (needs to make that more known in description), a bit away from shops and restaurants, rooms where very small(we was hardly in them so we didn't mind)

I have just returned home from a trip to this resort and can say with confidence that the people complaining are just looking for a reason to complain. The food is great, similar each day but you get what you pay for. I would agree with other guests that this perhaps is not a 5 star resort, however it is still fantastic for the price. The rooms are great and you are able to get them cleaned whenever and it is always to the highest standard. The drinks are brilliant too, if they were to provide cocktails that were not pre made then the place would go out of business so I’m not sure what people expect. All the staff are great and very helpful/informative. I’d particularly like to mention that Apostolis was fantastic and such a kind person. Unfortunately there were some guests that gave him a hard time but he dealt with it in an amazing manner and still kept a smile on his face afterwards. Overall, if you are looking for a romantic getaway then this is your place. Me and my partner will most definitely be returning.

We have just returned from a week at the Rimondi. Contrary to the reviews we read, we could not fault the holiday from start to finish. The staff were very welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them, the room was clean, the choice of food and drinks were good and the outside areas were well maintained and spotless, the views were incredible from our balcony and the infinity pool. We would highly recommend this hotel and we will definitely be back for another visit.

We have just returned from the most relaxing resort I have ever been to. We stayed in a junior suite and the private pool was fabulous. All the staff, from the moment we arrived, couldn’t have done more for us and were so accommodating and helpful. Check in was very quick and efficient and we were helped with our bags to our room. The hotel is set in gorgeous surroundings on a hillside overlooking the sea and there is a regular bus that takes you to their beach every 30 minutes or so throughout the day, as well as a taxi service for €9 return that takes you to the town of Rethymno. Really easy and quick to book cleaning for the next day. Just a few taps on their website. The cleaners left the room spotless and were really friendly. Do your research before you come here - if you’re looking for a lively hotel with entertainment every night, this is not the place for you. There is entertainment in the square twice a week - when we were there, there was greek dancing and a Latin night and the staff really make it fun. If you want a peaceful, serene holiday with picturesque surroundings then you will adore this. There are three pools, all with fantastic views and always spare sun beds. I have seen reviews where there are complaints about a tourist tax - I thought this was well known and we were aware of it before we arrived. This is also not hotel specific - it is set by the government. Food was aplenty and there was lots of variety to suit everyone. It is replaced regularly and everything is delicious and fresh, with lots of traditional greek food, as well as dishes to cater to the less adventurous. There are two main restaurants and three bars set around the hotel so you’re always close by, regardless of where your room is in the complex. When we checked out and our bands were taken off, we were told that we could still help ourselves to food and drink in the restaurant Villani until it was time to leave which was incredibly kind of them. We will definitely be returning, thank you for such a wonderful holiday!
