Well where do we start …
- No air conditioning instead we have to put up with heating or have the door open which attracted the bugs to come in then woke up with insect bites.
- No hot running water for 8 hours instead told by reception to take a “cold” shower
- Unclean sheets due to friend spilling a cup of tea. Came back to the hotel to find the bed had been made by the chamber maid but ignored the fact it was unclean and it wasn’t till we pulled back the sheets to find she ignored it and made it with the dirty sheets.(Anyone with a slight common sense would put fresh sheets on)

Our room was lovely, comfortable beds. Staff all lovely and very helpful. Food was lovely and very reasonable. The pool area was lovely and clean, dj made it fun round the pool. I went with 11 friends so lots of singing and laughs. Would definitely go back and stay, even with the steep hill 😀

5 of us stayed here for a long weekend of partying last weekend. The venue is amazing with sea views, good music, live DJ and great staff (Antonio, Naza and the lifeguard). The hotel was very accommodating when we requested a late check out and we were able to keep our room until 6pm, which was very helpful because we had late flights, which meant we could freshen up before going home! Antonio deserves his own section, he is a super friendly guy and absolutely carries the vibe!

This is a great hotel...I went last weekend with another 10 lads on a Stag Doo. The hotel itself is spotless, the pool and bar area with the chilled out DJ music is the perfect place to recover after a long night. The best thing about the place is the staff, all of them are brilliant. Special mention goes to Naza at the pool bar and also as almost everyone has mentioned Antonio...what a guy! Never stops smiling and joking around. I hope to come back again in the future.

We stayed at sotavento during rugby weekend this year and last and it just gets better every time. All staff are extremely hospitable (special shoutout to Antonio and the hotel manager) also if you go at a similar time of year you'll see Harry who's basically part of the furniture . Good rooms; big with a kitchen , balcony and a fridge - we paid about 150 euro each for 5 nights. Theres music by the pool and great cocktails- the food is AMAZING - the carbonara is defo the best I've ever tried definitley recommend

Stay here every year with friends on a lads trip, absolutely love the place and the staff especially Antonio (my Spanish boyfriend ) and Enrique, they always make sure our stay is the best, the new pool barmaid Naza is also very nice and happy thanks again for an amazing stay.

Stayed here for the weekend of Friday 4th October to Sunday 6th October to celebrate my 30th birthday, as a group of 3. Cannot fault this hotel at all it’s spotlessly clean, the staff are friendly and helpful, breakfast here is great too and is served until 3pm which is ideal. There’s also a supermarket on site too which is good, because this hotel is located at the top of a really steep hill. Location is fantastic it’s a stones throw away from the ***** and the beach, but away enough up the hill to be quiet on an evening. I wasn’t sure what to expect staying out of season but I’ve had the best time, my only complaint is that I didn’t stay long enough and I would 100% stay here again. I asked to keep the room on as we had an evening flight home, which was only €35 to keep the room until 6pm, which was great as we were leaving for the airport at 5, I really did not want to leave! Will definitely be back soon.
