Under an hour from Randburg, is this magic unspoilt & pet friendly oasis off the beaten track with all facilities for a short or long getaway from the city. Great walks and views etc - a must if you need a quiet break from the maddening crowd.

We as a family do think that a daily cleaning service should be included..not over and above the accommodation fee. It had been our 3rd time back to visit Stone Hill so we do enjoy the lodge

We both thoroughly loved and enjoyed our time at Stone Hill! It was relaxing, recharging and we highly recommend it to anyone looking for a great get-away without travelling too far away from the city.

Amazing place to give you and your dogs a holiday. A comfortable ride from Johannesburg and you are in the country. The facilities were excellent -all the things one needed for a self-catering stay and with extras. The hosts were very friendly.This was our second visit and we loved it.

A fantastic cottage and peaceful weekend away with the dogs , everything is extremely well catered with much thought and care. A lovely way to the river for the dogs to swim in and excellent hospitality . Highly recommended

Beautiful surroundings and everything you need for a weekend away. Quaint self catering cottage with lovely garden and splash pool. Easily accessible from JHB. Great outside braai area. We had a really relaxing weekend and loved the walks on the 5km trail and by the river. The dogs loved every minute. I recommend the breakfast!

Quiet, peaceful and made for doggies. Cottages are nicely separated and well equipped. Loved the freedom for the fur babies and off leash walks were wonderful.
