The best place to be in the rainy season. The resort has a lot to offer, the best being the mountain view, fresh air, huge room with a view . The pools are huge, surrounded by nature . The heated mineral pool is perfect for a cold wet day. Downside is the access . Must arrange for transport in advance. Don't trust Grab. The drivers won't send you for less than $900. Resort will arrange for transport back to town.
It's very warm here. There are not many rooms, about 4-5 rooms. Today we have come to stay in Ban Ao room. There is a private swimming pool as well. Plus, if you want to eat something, the seats are available. Who wants a cool atmosphere? Try pork Kra Talay, 500 per set, I think it's worth it. The food looks good quality, plus the owner is also very cute and friendly. Help us carry the luggage as well. It's like being in a very warm family style. There is a very complete service, tea, coffee, roast coffee, complete equipment, ready to feel the atmosphere, sit and sip tea, very refreshing. Let's go, there is breakfast here as well.
Beautiful accommodation, beautiful view, clean, comfortable, has a bathtub for soaking in water, but the duvet is a bit thin, thicker would be warmer. The way from Chiang Mai city is not difficult to drive. When you get close to the accommodation, there will be a parking lot of Khao Kod Homestay. It is recommended to park here and call the accommodation to pick you up. Because the entrance is quite deep, the road is quite narrow. But when you get to the accommodation, the view is beautiful. The accommodation has only recently opened. For dinner, there will be a barbecue/one-dish meal to order. A barbecue set costs 450 baht, and they give you a lot!

I understand that there are a lot of insects when it rains, but there was a gecko in the bathtub in the room. The hotel manager only knew that it was a fish. I understand that there must be a gecko, but before the customer checked in, couldn't they have checked? It's not like a gecko came to lie down in the bathtub when you went into the bathtub. Looking at it and taking a shower is horrifying. But the service and the staff spoke well and were well-mannered, so I have to praise them for this. As for the open bathroom, it was full of insects. I showered and got goosebumps, and there were snails taking a shower too.
The hotel is located on the Moncham Mountain, 1 hour drive from the airport. This trip was specifically to experience Chiang Mai in winter and enjoy the flowers. We knew that Onsen's room type and the hotel environment are Japanese-style designs, and it also provides hot spring baths. There are different small animals in the park. Seeing them living very leisurely made us very interested in visiting. We stayed in Onsen for 3 days and 2 nights from the 29th to the 3rd day of the Chinese New Year. What surprised us most was that the atmosphere of Mi Zu restaurant was very good, especially at dinner time. Most of the guests were also eating in the restaurant, and it was very lively. Special thanks to Chef, Vee, Art and Naam for their hospitality. Each of them was very enthusiastic in entertaining guests and often interacted with us, which made us feel warm and heartwarming. In addition, I also thank Nee who gave me a massage in the spa. She massaged me very attentively, with a suitable strength and accurate massage positions, which almost made me fall asleep. I have a very good impression of Onsen, especially recommend visiting in autumn and winter 👍💕
The hotel is nicely situated in the country side, with small river running through and nice gardens. The room was spacious and comfortable. The food was good for dinner. Minor criticisms, the in room television was small by current standards. The breakfast was more limited in choice that would normally expect for this class of hotel.
An unforgettable stay! Our host was incredibly friendly, helpful and kind, making us feel right at home. We thoroughly enjoyed every moment, taking in the breathtaking views, peaceful surroundings, and savoring delicious home-cooked meals. Thank you, Aye and Chai! We can't wait to be back again soon.
Beautiful. Peaceful. Gorgeous valley. Excellent staffs. Very relaxing and restful. Worth every penny for a supercharged spiritual one week stay amidst divine creation in such natural beauty ! Moreover ALL local workers were so kind, sincere, truthful in their natural simplicity of life. A small paradise on earth ?

GGuest UserAccommodation service is very good. Grilled pork with sauce is very delicious. The atmosphere is very good.
GGuest UserBefore you go, you must bring a bottle of mosquito repellent spray. You must close the bedroom door when you turn on the light at night, otherwise there will be many small bugs that receive the light to attract them to fly in. Fear of insects pay attention to the first night. The door did not close and flew in. There were a lot of bugs, and the scalp was numb and I caught the bug for an hour. It is recommended to bring a small light, turn on the light in the room and try to pull the curtains, the door is closed, it is suitable for friends who can eat a little bitter to come and lie flat, the price is very high, the scenery is beautiful, there is no industrial noise, no car roar, there is wind and birdsong... You can bring a little fruit snack, It is recommended to stay for at least two nights, one night is too tossing, and the rest is not good. The Thai hot pot of the little proprietress is delicious, the pork is very fresh, and the proprietress is very cute and kind. recommend
CChutimaVery cozy and nice resort in Mon Jam. The resort architecture was really homey. We came to the resort too early before check-in time but we've been received great service and hospitalized to get early check-in also been upgraded to the bigger room to ”Mon Fah” that you can enjoy the stunning view at your room great balcony area. Hot chamomile tea retreated me from a bit cold but fresh greenery after rain during check-in waiting. After check-in, we took lunch at resort restaurant that they had Michaelin stars 3 consecutive years. Food was fresh and very healthy delicious especially organic vegg. We felt very warm hospitalized from all service minded and well trained staffs and especially 'Pee Su” the owner. All fruits especially papaya was really sweet and fresh. We encouraged yo support local organic farm directly here that you can enjoy shopping papaya, lemon, and seasonal vegg and fruits here. ”Nong Kwan” the resort staff brought us to the local chilli, lettuce and cabbage farm down hill that easy to access from resort. She's really friendly and amazingly she learnt how to plant by herself, from long year experience learning by doing was such a great expertise that she shared her know how with us and we learnt from her a lot about high land plantation. We appreciated Pee Su, Long Kwan and all staffs provided us great service like friends visit home. We promised next time to Mon Jam, we'll revisit your place once again for sure.
AAnonymous UserThe accommodation is clean, but the view is only of zinc. The hot water system is not good, so you can't take a quick shower and soak in the tub. The rooster crows very loudly, from midnight to 2 a.m. and periodically until morning, making it difficult to sleep because it is very loud. The bed is a bit too soft, so it is easy to get back pain.
Gglobe trotter_Perfect for a short getaway. Would be easier if you're driving. around 45 min from Chiangmai town area. Otherwise ready to pay 700-1000baht per trip.
Our room is spacious but will prefer those with outside seating area. The dinner will be served at the common area with a view. For 1500 Baht, you will be served with easily 3-4 pax portion. Coffee wise pretty decent as well. Will definitely recommend anyone to come here for a short stay.
CChompu SrichaiThe receptionist is good. Lovely, very attentive to customers. The room is spacious, but next to the water flow is a little slow. If you can adjust this, it will be very good. and breakfast porridge With delicious bread
