It is so far from downtown Chiang Mai that it is almost impossible to get to and from the city by Grab or taxi. It would be a good idea to look for a way to have your accommodation provide a shuttle bus.

Because I was going to the elephant training camp, I deliberately lived nearby in order to reduce the time on the circuit. The hotel was very clean and the service was very enthusiastic.
