Taryn Tara Cafe and Stay

The accommodation is beautiful and the atmosphere is good. However, when comparing the price with the value for money, it is quite expensive. Drinks such as plain water should be more. They give too little water. If you ask for more, you have to pay. But overall, it is not bad. However, it is not worth it when compared to the price of the room and the convenience. The hot water heater is not warm because the weather is cold, but the water is not hot at all.

13/01/2025 is a very cold day, 11-12 degrees in the dark and early morning. The atmosphere of our house is a very good motor home. Personally, the bed in the motor home can sleep 3 people, father, mother and child (2 years old) comfortably. But the heater on the bed, if left on and slept on, is secretly very hot. Have to wake up to turn it off. The weather is very cold. Soaking in a hot tub outside the house like an onsen in the cold valley 555 very romantic. There is a real waterfall in the house area. The sound of the waterfall makes you feel very good. Quiet. Personally, the grilled food is very delicious. All the staff are lovely. The service is very impressive. Will definitely come back again with friends. I like it very much. We went to visit the village of Om Kampong twice. Arrived, checked in, went out around 4-6 pm. It was one thing. Woke up early and went around 7-10 am. It was another atmosphere. Very good, very close.

If you're seeking a quiet and simple stay in nature, this one's for you. Location is off the beaten track so there's not much to do in the area in terms of activities. This place is suitable for those who primarily plan on staying in and relaxing, definitely not for parties or large groups. The accommodation is pretty new with a quaint feel. The grounds are nice and tidy but there are few spots to hang about as the property is on the side of a hill. They have some birds that you can check out and feed. Reception is only open during the day so if you arrive in the evening you'll only meet grounds workers who didn't say much or provide any information. We stayed in one of the villas which all have a bathtub on the balcony. The room was functional and fairly clean (there were some insects, as one might expect). There's a large fridge so you can stock up to your heart's content. The view was fine, lush greenery and sunrise, but nothing spectacular. The balconies have a mesh curtain off one side which would've been much better if it'd been solid since mesh doesn't really provide any privacy and the villas are quite close to one another. Breakfast is delivered to the room at about 8-ish. You can ask to change some items if you have dietary restrictions. The restaurant opens in the evening and only serves Moo Kra Ta, and there's a bar which was closed during our stay.

The hotel is located on a hill on the outskirts of Chiang Mai. It takes about 50 minutes to get to the hotel from the city center. The environment is very quiet. There are streams and green trees surrounding the hotel. The hotel staff are very friendly and first-class. I will definitely come back next time.
Aobe Resort

The breakfast menu is very good for the price. There are a lot of side dishes and the accommodation is private, but there are some bugs because it is in the mountains. If you are driving, you must drive carefully as the road is narrow.
